I was going to say - that is not real choking , she gagged . Real choking is scary 😧 my at the time 15 month old choked on apple once, was awful , he was fine he coughed it out in the end but I did panic & hes 10 now & I still worry about choking & I still slice his grapes in half 🙈
 
I not a bespoke mummy yet 🙄🤣, but I understand that you want to show your child off and what not but bloody hell, Olive has a camera in her face 24/7 bless her. I honestly feel so sorry for her. Imagine your mum coming to wake you up in the morning by blasting a iPhone torch in your face so she can record you.

Can’t wait for this mummy question live later. I hope she gets loads of questions asked that she doesn’t know the answer to so she looks a proper tit.

Oh man choking is my biggest fear in life - even before having a baby. I’ve worked in care a looked after people with dysphagia for a longgg time and I still have major anxiety with it! She needs to put the phone down and concentrate on what her baby is doing. I could hear noise in the background which would probably be distracting. My girl is the same age as Olive bar a day and she wouldn’t have any breakfast this morning because the washing machine was distracting her and more interesting. I feel like she’s just gone boom Olive is 6 months this week I’m doing this head on!

I've started weaning mine - and I find it horrific 🤢🤮. I don't care how much I love my child, it still makes me want to vomit! I don't do messy half chewed food everywhere. Then again, I had to train myself with the baby sick and poo aswell 😂😂😂
 
Urgh she makes me sick so olive "choked" on the big corgette skin so she then spoons another load in her mouth horrible forceful fat handed dope asif she has a video camera up whilst weaning ive she had a baby for the gram feel so so mean on olive why the duck does delo not do nothing about it hes obvs just as bad
 
Poor baby is up the wall, one minute she's got her hands in her mouth ragging out that bit of courgette and the next second she shoves the spoon in her gob. Don't get me wrong, we will made mistakes at the start but why film it?? Its so personal to you and your child. Also no one else gives a duck

thing is she can’t. She’s begged that much free tit she’s now obligated to post every waking moment and if she doesn’t they could ask her to pay for it or send it back. What a sad life.

My baby is STILL only on 6oz at 8 months. Does that mean she’s not active or growing? Only she’s been crawling since 5 months and can pull herself up to cruise at 8 months. So what am I doing wrong? She’s only 35th percentile but has been on that steady curve since birth. She’s got a healthy appetite with the blw AND purées! I’m getting sick to death of people comparing their babies to try and use it to have a sly dig at KHM. I bet it’s not just me who’s been made to feel tit by insensitive comments like this. I’ve pulled back from reading here the past few days and this is an example of why!

I don’t think it’s a dig at any mums on here. If kates saying olives desperate for food then why hasn’t she just given her more milk.
we know she doesn’t focus on olives development and the poor kids been strapped into a car seat for the past 5 months and 2 days 🙄
 
I’m not denying that and I know the poster won’t be intending it that way, but it’s at least the third ‘my babies on so and so many oz by now’ I’ve read with the sole purpose of digging her out. I agree if Olive is still hungry, give her more milk, but all this seeming competitiveness and comparing babies DOES make other mums question if they’re doing a good job! This lockdown is hard enough without being made to feel tit because your baby isn’t downing pints by 9 months!

She should just get a go pro and have done with it - at least there’s less chance of poor olive getting hurt if she’s got both hands free

You are right, all babies are different and it’s daft to compare their development ❤
I think Kate trying to rush olives development is part of the problem. If she’s not ready to roll, sit up or start weaning then what’s the rush??

Girls if you’re arsed about what other people feed or don’t feed their kids and it makes you feel tit about your own parenting, forums probably aren’t the place for you. Strangers online shouldn’t be making you question your parenting techniques. That’s a slippery slope. Just do you.

Tell you what though, I used to think I’d be a tit mum until I saw THM have a go at it. Now I think I’d be boss 😂
