Honestly makes me feel sad that newborn baby sitting in a car seat while they're at a party drinking, or potentially being passed about drunk people.

This just comes across as desperate for attention. Knowing everyone would be talking to her about it and cooing over the baby.

I should be surprised that they don't want to stay home and soak in that baby bubble. With everything going on it's actually a person reason to not have everyone coming to you etc. Those first few weeks are precious and for bonding and getting used to each other. She's not bleeping interested in that at all. She's been exactly like what I expected her to be based off of what she was like when she was pregnant.
