There’s a metro article that says this, and I think she does look like Alex, but nothing has been confirmed?

It would be one phone call from her agent to correct such a huge error in the metro article. The only reason they wouldn’t change something is if it is true.
 
Am beginning to think it's that oxymoron, "an open secret". If violet sees her dad and if friends know etc etc then it isn't hard for anyone with contacts in the industry to know who it is too. Seems showbiz world knows its him and every so often they forget they're not supposed to mention it for some unknown reason.
 
For a long time, Violet was kept out of the public eye until she had her own (older and more mature) capacity to decide.
So keeping her father a secret was another perfectly understandable position to take.

At some point someone will probably put something on social media and reference it in a way but ultimately, they all seem quite happy and content with the setup so it’s a win win.
 
It’s uncanny to me. He’s just won an Emmy too, he seems to have a lot of Hollywood friends. I wonder how often he sees Violet (if of course it is him). I noticed when she was NY and Katherine posted him on her stories he did not then also share it despite posting lots of insta stories himself.

I don’t believe Violet has a relationship with her father anymore. She referred to him with disdain on an episode of Katherine’s mum’s podcast a few months back. And I think I remember Katherine saying in an ep that Violet has chosen not to spend time with her dad anymore. Yet they seem to have a good relationship with Alex. In Katherine’s book it’s implied she and Violets dad moved to the UK together so he’s likely also Canadian. So I think Violet just probably grew close to Alex while he and Katherine were together and that’s why she still sees him.
 
He does have 2 brothers 🤔 could be she doesn't see dad but does see his family? They are too alike to me idc what the dna says

Alex randomly changed Uni’s the last term though? To move to London.
If she says “We moved to London” that doesn’t dictate where from, however if she says “We moved from/left Canada…”
 
I’m under the impression that V’s dad lives in the UK or at least did during lockdown - in one of the podcasts Katherine said that they gave one of the dogs to Violet’s dad during lockdown because he lives alone and is quite lonely

im sure I’ve either heard/read her say that when they were locked out the house (or possibly some other household drama), Violets dad came to help.

Yes I remember this. She has also said that Violet's dad is from Canada and they moved to London primarily for his career but his flopped and hers took off!
