Does her Nan have dementia? It might distress her too much seeing them through the window. But I’m sure if she got tested and was negative she would be allowed in?

I’m not sure I missed a lot of the early days of her recording her etc so not too sure of the reasons why she’s in the home. The problem with a test it’s only as good as the day it’s taken. So if the result came 3 days after the test you could have covid after test is taken. Also you would have to pay for the test which a private test where I live is £85.
Regular visiting in these circumstances would be beneficial, even though a window as it’ll maintain contact. Having contact and then cutting it will have an extreme impact on wellbeing particularly more so with anyone living with dementia. The home I work in had outdoor social distanced visits in the summer and once the weather turned they set up covid safe visiting within one area of the home.

I’ve just read on the gov.uk site they are trying to get lateral flow tests for 4 visitors a week per resident, but I’m not sure whether that’s happening in her nans home, and as you say they’re not 100% accurate. There’s definitely more to it than she’s letting on.

It does seem very sus. Either the home aren’t complying with visiting at all which is bleeping disgusting or we’re not getting the truth from KHM. If it’s that they aren’t complying you would do everything and anything to get that family member into another home! I know I would.

On the Wirral there’s mass community testing so she can literally go get a test whenever, symptoms or not. Some are the lateral flow tests which take about 45 mins too. God knows why she’s not being allowed

Course I hadn’t even thought of that (I’m in SE London so forget what’s going on elsewhere 🤣).
Our care home has weekly tests for staff and monthly for residents. We’ve had visiting for months now I’m sure it started back in about July.
I just really can’t understand any reason why visiting would not be allowed and I would be doing a lot more than complaining about it on Instagram.

At least KHMs bad photoshop gave him a nickname that despite how many times it’s clarified, I only see as sexual, not like poor Delo who is just constantly being made a show of before his shift at Foot Locker
 
I have never in my life taken a photo of myself crying. Why the bleedin hell does she have a pic of herself at her supposed lowest?! Who thinks “I know I’d better take a photo of myself sobbing”???!!! She’s such a crank. Also I don’t think she was ever “trolled to death” cos last time I checked she was still here .... being a complete dick online, 24/7
