In the case of celebs usually its a private family only funeral and then a memorial service a few months later when the family are up to it.
Agree with all the comments re grief whores.

They also all work for global radio group(smooth/capital/ heart etc) from same building so will see each other there is imagine.

I actually thought she might play it down a bit, but no she played it up, I wonder who got exclusive photo rights. What a vile display of wealth and privilege and celebrity pretty sickening.

She has zero morals.

People complain about Katie hopkins id love to see her take on this, think is people complain about Hopkins but I'd say garraway is a more insideous disgusting where people defend it.

Look for Katie Hopkins on TikTok. She absolutely roasts St Kate about all of this! Not a fan of her by any means but she’s spot on with what she’s saying!
 
This is low, even by her standards. Her youngest child is 11. As a parent, she should be prioritising her children and trying to make this as easy on them as possible. I highly doubt her children said "I'd love to have a bunch of celebrities dad hardly knew turn up at the funeral, along with loads of photographers taking pictures of us."

On top of the trauma of seeing their dad so ill for years, and ultimately losing him, they now have the added trauma of not even being able to say a dignified and private goodbye to him as their selfish mother has turned the whole thing into a celebrity spectacle and PR stunt.

I can't even imagine being so selfish and narcissistic that I'd completely disregard the feelings and mental wellbeing of my children on the day they say goodbye to their father. She really is absolutely vile and shameless. Should have been planning a fitting and dignified funeral for Derek, and looking after their kids, and instead she's been creating a celebrity guest list and doing deals with the press.
