I was just about to say similar. She had an awful relationship with her mother, she moaned constantly about her and it didn't sound like they ever got on so the way she talks about her now is a bit of a joke. She used to make out her mother was the devil incarnate.

Kat even mentioned what a difficult relationship they had when her mother died.

Gosh, it’s not like Kat to rewrite history. 🙄
 
And yet she is perpetuating that difficult relationship with her own daughter. She was banging on the other day about having a scream match with one kid and then felt guilty afterwards. Isn’t that type of thing called generational harm. And adding insult to injury by broadcasting it all over social media!
 
I scrolled back: Kat’s mother died in early December 2015 after a period of ‘not being herself’. Kat would have been 42 years old.

I call that discussions with her mum around a special 50th birthday present fall somewhere between ‘gilding the lily’ and ‘outright lie’.
 
Yeah I definitely remember a Mother's Day post commiserating with everyone who didn't have a good relationship with their mother, like she didn't.

I had no problem when she used (what was implied was ALL) the inheritence for the deposit on the Suffolk home because its a good investment in a place they revisit.

But I find it hilariously hard to believe that her Mum would have been "Oh deffo get yourself a Birkin with half of it and leave your family with a bigger mortgage!"

And the patting herself on her own back because its "sustainable"???! To get a BIRKIN????!!!!

You can’t walk into an Hermes shop and buy a Birkin, you must be known to the store staff having bought a few things before. They are sought after and people are waiting lists for them. There are bits of this story missing, it’s not only a £15k bag, what has she spent to get to the top of that wait list?
 
Second hand Birkins sell really well, they are sought after and as mentioned above ,there are waiting lists for new Birkins, so buying second hand is probably most peoples options (if you can afford one). If you do manage to buy a new one, you can sell on easy and make a decent profit!

Kat probably had to buy 2nd hand as not on the list in Hermes to buy new.....yet! She will no doubt be trying to get on that list at some point with the phrase "do you know who I am" 😂

Its just laughable that she's waited this long to let everyone know the reason she bought one. I'd rather her say, I've done really well & been lucky in my work, with TV and other bits & bobs, so I thought I'd treat myself to a bag for my 50th, which I've lusted over for years (presumably??) and bought 2nd hand as I'm not on the list in Hermes to buy new and this is the only way I could purchase one.

I see there wasn't one negative comment too, unles they've been filtered out?
 
Do you think she saw the title to this thread and there was a bit of her determined to buy the bag as it would give two fingers to her critics? Not that I’d expect her to be so small-minded, of course.

If my parents caught me spending any inheritance on such a vanity, they’d roll in their ashes. If they heard me proclaim to the world that it’s what they would have wanted, they’d be back to haunt me quicker than you can say “Rent-a-ghost” (at least that’d be on-message for Kat as it’s a more sustainable way to visit from the afterlife).
 
She is more than happy to usually flaunt endless free holidays, luxury hotel breaks, Neptune bespoke furniture, Wimbledon, Ascot, haircuts and on and on.
She clearly thinks all her followers are so stupid that they will swallow all the endless gifted stuff (in the name of ‘work’) but will balk at the purchase of a 20k bag. Like it wouldn’t dawn on any of them that saving £20k on holidays each year funds that bag without blinking. She is absolutely minted, even before the bum40 rise to fame.
To use the mum card is so tasteless.
 
What in the name of all that is holy is she doing here?? Someone pls tell me this puerile, unpleasant reaction isn’t just because of a brief conversation about use of language with one of her own children.

But when it’s pointed out on tattle that my engagement is super crap I hide my likes.
And I only want people blowing smoke up my arse so I limit the comments on my posts.
And if you politely point out my disclosure of ads isn’t at all transparent then I’ll be rude to you on Facebook and won’t discourage my followers who will hound you off my page.
