Didn't Joanne go to her GP months ago looking to get weight loss medication and the GP told her no that there was other issues that needed to be sorted first so they must of referred her to the diabetic clinic. Joanne's only delighted that the consultant said she was the perfect candidate for Saxenda. Her GP will probably agree to it this time after the consultant's recommendation. Is it norm that the GP's have to apply for Saxenda for everyone that needs it or does applying for it mean it'll be funded or it'll only cost the same as medical card prescription?

Its not fully funded either it's medical card rates (which is very minimal) or drug payment rates depending on if you have a medical card or now.

It annoys me to think tax payers taxes would pay for weight loss jabs for a person who is too chronically lazy to help themselves. If she had tried everything I would say something but her laziness is apparent and she conveniently had a sore knee when she was supposed to be doing that PT programme. She needs to be sentenced to 6 months of hard graft and daily work outs. Her work hours definitely allow that, I mean she couldn't have it more convenient in terms of home living arrangements and child care. Always an excuse and seeking the easy way out. I just do not want to be paying for bone laziness.

Are you looking for people to follow who had wls? If u are il tell u the ones I follow , I only follow a few cause most are a load of shite
Yes please!!!! 🙏 never know who’s sincere now!

She’s not an influencer so rather not say just someone local to me she just did a highlight on it. Leah punch is a good one to follow and light at the end of my sleeve
Love Leah, very genuine

It’s actually not funded on medical card it’s 250 a month it’s only covered if your part of long term illness scheme and have diabetes or can be claimed back via drugs payment scheme

Operation orla 2.0 she just had plastics but very real and genuine, Sarah shrinks with sasi , maintaining Mike and his wife Claire - I like her page more than his he is a bit up his own arse , there is another lad Steve fatboyslim I think his page is called. He had a bit of beef with maintaining Mike .

I find operation orla draining to watch. She didn’t stop giving out about the hospital and what was happening. Maintaining Mike is the same, he always finds something to moan about

A lot of the answers in the box she put up doesn’t sound like Saxenda is great at all. 1lb a month, no losses at all, 30lbs in 15 months.

I have no sympathy for her anyway, she got the surgery and then went on a tour of Ireland for free stays and food in hotels and ate all round her.

Didn’t follow the proper diet after losing her gallbladder and had a two page spread written about her and her diarrhea.

It’ll be more of the same, until she stops making excuses for herself.

Even the way Mike tossed his food cooking pisses me off. Orla ended up in Irish hospital as soon as she got back from Turkey 😱

Isn't today the day she goes to her GP to find out if she can be recommended for Saxenda. She will be on later in her sing songy voice all upbeat if she says yes. Why exercise when you can lie in bed dealing with after effects after having an injection do the work for you. I fully agree with these injections for people who have tried everything and are literally fighting for their lives. She has already had huge intervention in the form of a surgery to cut her stomach in half and didnt implement lifestyle changes afterward and clean up her diet or her approach to physical fitness and is back whining that she needs injections. She needs to be told to overhaul her lifestyle and have that under review first of all. I have a fundamental issue with laziness like this. Exercising is hard, I push myself to the gym 3 times a week and walk daily around that, it's hard to juggle it all with work, running a house etc but it's necessary. She just doesn't try. Every time she is on she is sitting with a milky coffee or putting stuff on her face, never out for a brisk walk or anything.

Saxenda won't be the answer to her problems. It can be very hit and miss, myself and others I know tried it and had to stop using it because the side effects were just awful.
Another friend on it now at the moment and he's having great success and no side effects.

This is hilarious. Not everyone can lose huge weight as it’s not as simple as calories in and calories out. She showed herself directly after her operation eating huge meals at hotels and bags of sweets she was paid to promote along with the baked fry 😂 the big bowls of pasta the milky coffees the cocktails and the pastries.
The only one she is fooling is herself, it took her getting diabetes to get the other quick fix for nothing.

She's a great one for blame. Blame the gallbladder, blame the health staff for not listening to her. Never anything about her own involvement in the 'failed bypass'. Wouldn't you think if she knew and doctors knew the gallbladder would slow weightloss she would have busted her ass to get the weight off before opting for the operation. I wouldnt be surprised if she had that so she could sit back and give up making an effort to exercise and calorie count and blame her gallbladder removal. She doesn't ever mention all the free wining and dining she did after the operation. None of that would have helped, huge sugary cocktails, chocolate, sweets, big dinners... She is going on like she was religious with diet and exercise after the stomach surgery, she wasn't. Morto for her.
How many more interventions is she going to need 🙄
