Just bought my first home - overwhelmed

Quite normal. I bought on my own and wondered what the hell i’d just done, but it’s worked out great for me. It is daunting, especially when buying alone, but It’s all yours and you can do with it exactly as you please. Trust me, you will love it. You’ll always have your own asset too. Enjoy it and huge congratulations
 
Thank you everybody for such the kind, lovely comments!!! After having the weekend to digest I’m feeling much less overwhelmed, but god you do go through a lot of emotions😂😂 I really appreciate everybody who took time to comment ❤️

Yes, just checked. It’s definitely gone — unsure if deactivated or deleted but it’s not there. Strange that she didn’t post an update as her page has been active for what, 5 years now? And she seemed to interact a lot with her followers.
 
I haven’t followed her for a while but saw her in the comments of another instagrammer a few months ago and looked on her page to see she was engaged to her boyfriend, had moved house and was planning to host her wedding there. Has anything changed since then?

They were having money troubles I think (she was open about it, I think that house was more than they could chew and they didn’t get a survey done either on a listed property…) and was also open about the fact they were arguing. Wonder if everything is ok. Guessing not?
 
Assuming not, because if she just wanted to go offline it would have made sense to say goodbye to her followers.
It all seemed to be moving at a rapid pace: a house purchase and renovation is stressful enough, but add a wedding on top of that …. She also said she was earning less money, and although Joe had changed jobs to earn more, it was impacted by weather and if the weather was bad he essentially was unable to earn on those days. Nightmare.

Yeah I’m intrigued too, she doesn’t seem very considerate of others. Ie, hates when there’s screaming kids and annoying noises but doesn’t consider that her loud car is an annoying noise to most people. Bit hypocritical like, if you’re gonna rant at people making noise, be perfect first

Don’t even get me started - for someone who claimed to be such an independent ‘girlboss’ she didn’t half wang on about the boyfriend.
I’m sorry, don’t want to take over the thread with my moans! I’d suggest we start a thread for her but I don’t think we can for an account that’s not live 😔

Oh I wondered where she’d gone. I deffo think there’s trouble in paradise. Both skint, she doesn’t like he earns less, he then injured himself so couldn’t work ….

Yeah it’s odd that she just dropped off with not even so much as a goodbye. I thought she’d monetise her insta a bit more to earn money for the reno / wedding! Seems like an odd time to delete your page.
