Of course it's total rubbish. There would have been some kind of alert in the car (my old '66 plate Ford Fiesta used to beep like crazy when a door was left open), and at some point during the journey she would have looked in the rear view mirror. Why is she so keen to make people think she is a ditzy blonde airhead?
