Can people maybe stop commenting on her size? I just don’t think it’s fair when the girl is clearly not comfortable within herself.
I have to agree with you to an extent. Like I don't think it's up to us here to be commenting on how overweight, unhealthy or what size she is. I reckon it's a bit paternalistic. Also I really don't think she looks bigger than a size 18.
However I do take issue to the level she photoshops her photos, especially when she is trying to sell eejits like me clothes. When I saw the pic yesterday I really thought she looked great but then when I saw the pic her friend put up it really shocked me. It must be absolutely exhausting to be at that craic. I agree she looks very uncomfortable, weight loss is a lot more complex than just doing it though. I think she has potential to be a good influencer but she's done so many bonkers things over the years I dunno will i ever be able to take her seriously again.

The problem is, MUF is the one who speaks about her size and her body shape regularly. She is the one who sits naked in front of the mirror, taking selfies of herself, telling people to be proud about their size. When in reality the person she portrays online isn't even her! That's where she looses the right for her size and shape not to be spoken about. I'm not talking about being nasty about it but it's so disrespectful of her to pretend to be this body positive person when it's all lies.

I don't agree with nasty comments at all but she is projecting her body image onto her followers! She's putting up links to clothes saying I got the size 16 in this so its oversized. A follower of similar build or smaller than joanne goes and buys and low and behold it's too small! What does that do for the followers body confidence!? That's the dangerous part in my view!

The very fact that she posts all her BoPo stuff and her naked pics with ‘just a reminder that...’ etc etc and then photoshops away half her body shape is hilarious.

I think it shows she’s trying to use the fact she’s at a larger size than she’d like, to her advantage by trying to pretend she’s all about the BoPo at any size, but the photoshopping and fear of showing her true size in pics really proves she is far from that mindset.

If she just put up filtered but unedited pics that show her at her true size no one would say anything but clearly that picture and the video of her jumping into the water shows the reality from the edited pics she posts.

It’s really sad she can’t seem to accept it.

If she didn't pretend she's size 14 when she's obviously size 24 no-one would comment about it.

The point is though that it’s nobody’s business what size any woman is or isn’t. If Joanne wants to pretend she’s a size 10, surely that’s her prerogative. We all know otherwise and she doesn’t owe anyone her body measurements. Who cares what size she is or isn’t? End of the day, it’s nobody’s business and she isn’t obliged to tell anyone.

This constant level of scrutiny over a woman’s body size is unacceptable.

And I can’t see how it’s “causing harm” when it’s patently obvious when images are altered. In my opinion, the real harm is in people queuing up to hammer someone over something they’re clearly very unhappy about.

TL/DR: Women, do each other a favour and stop making women’s body sizes a talking point.

I'm going to quote a previous poster on why it's causing harm as I believe this nails it: "She's putting up links to clothes saying I got the size 16 in this so its oversized. A follower of similar build or smaller than joanne goes and buys and low and behold it's too small! What does that do for the followers body confidence!? That's the dangerous part in my view!"

If Joanne were making a living selling say, I don't know, cars, then it wouldn't be right to comment on her figure. But when she's making money advertising clothes, positioning herself as a body positive account and being duplicitous and deceptive then it's to be expected that people will comment on it.

So it's okay for someone to tell lies and be deceitful about something but it's not okay to point out those lies incase it hurts her feelings?! Wow!

The amount of young people who are suffering with eating disorders and mental health issues do not need to see someone with a large following, spouting crap about body positivity when she's a complete fraud. These people need to be held accountable for the stuff they post. I'm shocked you think it's okay for her to alter her photos and pretend to be someone she's not. If it was any other profession, she wouldn't get away with it.

Just to add, the only person making her body size a talking point is herself. She is the one who posts half naked pics in her lingerie and tells us to love our size when it's obvious she can't even do that herself.

So stop blaming other people for speaking out about something that Joanne Larby lies about regularly and start asking Joanne why she does it. For once stop making these people the victim of something that they are in the wrong for.

A lot of people can't tell when an image has been photoshopped. Look at the Grace thread. There's pics of Grace where the walls and door frame are all wavy where it's clearly been manipulated and people still comment "Oh I don't think it's been edited, she just knows her angles." Please. If mascara brands can't show someone wearing falsies and claim it's just mascara, someone shouldn't advertise a dress saying it's one thing when it's something else entirely.

The thing is though is that she is essentially a salesperson. She advertises clothes with her AF links to make money. If you went into a shop and the salesperson sold you clothes telling you they were one size and you got home and found out they lied to you you wouldn’t be happy. This is how she makes a living, and this is why people are right to call out her dishonesty

Exactly!! The shop assistant saying I’m wearing an oversized 16 top only for you to go into the dressing room to find out it’s not. You’d go back and question the assistant. It’s totally disingenuous.
She’s posted about being body positivity multiple times but I guess thst doesn’t extend to her ankles.

🤣🤣🤣🙄🙄🙄🤭🤭🤭
