Its amazing how he's managed to make it about him and his feelings about Margot not liking him?! So bizarre that he's focused on how it's making him feel and how he can't cope with Margot feeling that way about him. It really is pure narc psychology. I find it fascinating how the need to be liked at all costs filters into every life experience a narcississt has.

Yeah, I definitely get the feeling watching those stories that a) he's a narcissist that craves attention, even at the expense of his child's safety and privacy and b) likely because of his narc personality, he doesn't have many friends. Much of what he was saying is the sort of thing you'd send to a friend. I get needing to vent, and needing to discuss the sort of mundane details of a really rough time in your life or whatever, but not with internet randos, Jimbo.

It really felt like he was saying…
“We had a rough night in hospital, but she still likes me so ☺️☺️

Yes, and also, the warning to other parents is his "noble justification" for sharing all this personal info when, we all know, the real reason is content and clicks for him.
Yes the 'public service announcement'.

Most parents feel guilty when they have to do something their child doesn't like but which is necessary. Taking them for vaccinations for eg. But Jim takes this to a whole other level of making it all about him.

Every time Margot is ill he's given a warning to parents to go to the hospital straight away if in doubt. Seems good of him on face value, but it's another narcissistic trait. It's almost in the hope that if a kid gets ill and the parent rushes them to hospital on Jim's advice, he's the hero.

It’s also incredibly terrible advice. A child doesn’t end up with tonsillitis every single time they’re unwell you can’t just be rocking up to A&E whenever you think they MIGHT be coming down with something. Imagine, “well Jim Chapman says I should always go to hospital when my child seems poorly so here I am!”

Totally agree, these influencers encouraging parents to turn up at A&E willynilly will put others at risk when they're overun.

He's also patting himself on the back for organising an Amazon wishlist for the hospital. What a hero.
Comes from a family of multiple millionaires, wants his followers to buy the hospital gifts (in his name) during a national cost of living crisis ☠️🙄

Why did they get other people to donate toys on a wish list. Why didn’t they donate toys to the hospital or even use their influencer status to contact brands to for toys to donate. Then they could suggest that followers donate outgrown toys to their own local hospital? We have donated quite a bit to ours as my kids have outgrown stuff, they are always so happy because things get stolen.

Considering Sarah doesn’t even give her gifted items away to charity, nope she sells them for a profit on Depop.
But apparently they are heros for getting other people to buy things for charity.

annoys me so much how these influencers and it’s not just Jim and Sarah are so stingy, always selling on gifted items or doing sly begs for them on stories.

Even that music box toy thing Jim did an ad for, he said this was on our list to get for Margot but we kindly got sent one. If you were genuinely going to buy it anyway why not give the gifted one away to a child who would love it or can’t afford it, or make a donation with the money?
But no the generosity of people like Jim only extends to telling other people to spend their own cash.

This is the kind of thing my parents would always do. And helped them believe they were protecting their children from future bad juju. Having a sick child is humbling.
Jim didn't grow up rich, right? maybe the excessive stinginess comes from there?

Jim saying Margot is straight to work after being discharged from hospital… oh the irony. Once the content always the content. Shame on you both. Let that poor baby recover in peace. Home 5 mins and already back on the bleeping gram.
It really is quite grim. Poor little thing and soon her baby brother making money for their parents. It’s all wrong. She had, what sounds like, quite a traumatic time in hospital. Let the kid rest and play with some toys in peace.

I’m so glad Tanya left him when she did, before they had kids because she’s had a lucky escape

This is why I kind of have a soft spot for tanya tbh. I have no real strong opinion of her otherwise but to be in a marriage like that and some of the old youtube content where some of the comments toward her were quite belittling and stuff. I’m pleased she left and seems happy in her new offline relationship, I respect that she doesn’t show her bf or baby.

Agreed!
Jim always treated her like she was a simpleton, which she played up to, but now I’m older looking back at it all, he was awful to her. It’s nice to see the grown up version of Tanya

Totally agree. I don't particularly like or dislike Tanya but I'm SO glad for her that she got out of a lifetime with this toxic twit. I feel really sorry for Margot. I know that no little kids consent to being shown on social media but it seems to me like she particularly hates it.
