Jim and Sarah Chapman #10 Watched, Tommy tanked, then cried (over Tanya’s YT return)

She is, but wasn't she also quite young at the time? Like, prefrontal-cortex-not-full-developed young? I seem to remember wincing when I read her age.
She's the same age as me, so maybe I have a different perspective, I just never thought of her as SO young. But yeah I certainly did things when I was younger that now find embarrassing, luckily I just didn't do it to such an audience haha

I can totally see how other people would think of that as young though! Especially as I think this was her first real relationship.

I do wonder if we've been too harsh on Tanya about the dog thing after seeing Jim's latest behaviour. if he was using the dog as a way to worm his way in and control her then giving the dog to a safe but far away person may have been the only way for her to break free....

I missed the whole Martha uproar as I didn’t follow them closely at the time, but I’ve lurked the threads and get the gist of it. I get the outrage on some level, but at the end of the day it’s a dog who is extremely likely to have gone to a good home. My best friend was in an emotionally abusive marriage and her ex used the dogs to emotionally blackmail her, guilt trip her, keep her tied to him, and demand money for bullshit pet costs. He stayed in their shared home and she had to rent a tiny flat where pets aren’t allowed so ultimately she had to walk away from the dogs and now only dogsits them if he’s away with work or in his home country because of course that’s convenient for him. Ultimately, my friend’s wellbeing was more important than her keeping dogs that would be well cared for regardless.

I'm starting to feel the same way. I remember he would vlog himself in a taxi on his way to her house to collect Martha for the day and looking back on that now I wonder if she was even aware he was going to show up. Martha might have been Jim's last way to contact Tanya and if his behaviour was as we are seeing now, I can understand her decision to want a clean break from him.

Remember when someone asked about it and Sarah (briefly before it was deleted) said it was Tanya who had got rid of her or something

Who is this about, Tanya or Sarah? I’m confused as I didn’t think of either of them as particularly young

I suspect that Jim told Sarah a lot of things about Tanya at the start of their relationship. His type always do, I hope Sarah took it with a large pinch of salt but so many women fall for the ‘my crazy ex’ type stories.
If a man constantly tells tales of his crazy exes, how women can be nuts etc there a good chance he’s the one making them nuts with his crappy behaviour!
