Jessie Cave #3 Can't successfully end a project, or a toxic relationship

🥴🥴

"Cave gets tongue-tied a lot and twice when she messes up a punchline and throws herself on the stage, much like a child having a tantrum, but she has such a likeable presence, we encourage her on through cheering. The laughter comes in smatters, though there’s really not much to chuckle at, as Cave excavates the last few years of her life including the death of her younger brother. There’s more of a collective feeling of wanting things to go well for Cave, both on stage and in real life."

She seems to not have enjoyed Edinburgh at all, apart from the joint shows with Alfie. Her confessional style is so good when written down but it's probably so much more daunting when you're on stage in front of an audience. The vulnerability is all laid out and the reaction is immediate. Scary business.

I can’t even imagine how gross Bebe’s living situation was though. Especially knowing she wipes snot on things like random clothes in stores. I’d be scared to sit on that couch.
HA I also can never forget and forgive her this statement. She framed it as being oh so anti-materialistic, but imagine you‘re the employee who has to touch the clothes afterwards. 🤢
I‘m not sure though, if she said it jokingly.

Because she brought 4 kids with her 🤐 I mean that's why, she didnt have to drag them to everything, she couldve got childcare but chose not to. She seems like a martyr determined to make life harder for herself. She wants to pretend that having 4 kids doesn't change her life at all and she can do all the things childless people can do. I mean it's just BS, and she knows it, that's why she didn't enjoy it. I can't imagine the stress of having toddlers there and that useless greasy dickwad Alfie.

what's she supposed to do? leave them in London with her mum for a month?? that's never gonna happen! I think it's more because she didn't get great reviews on the show and her and Alfie were running very different schedules (his show was at 11.30pm)

no obviously take them to edinburgh but maybe arrange childcare for when shes actually at work, at the festival? so that she can work properly

I think Jessie needs to realize she’s just genetically predisposed to clear skin. She was saying in a podcast once that, if you’re exfoliating and drinking water, your skin will absolutely be clear. But that’s really not going to help if someone has hormonal acne or other medical reasons for breakouts. She seems to base a lot of her brand on being an earth mother beauty who is naturally gorgeous with clear skin/long hair/zero aging. But it’s just not attainable for everyone and it’s not because the general population isn’t exfoliating or drinking water.

you hardly ever see anyone with skin like hers, shes so lucky. but it is definitely genetic, her skin is not the usual.
