But looking back, Nick was awful to her. He was jealous and toxic and so patronising.

I don't think he was that bad. A lot of the videos in TikTok etc are taken completely out of context. Both of them have said they played a part for the show but that then ended up spilling out into real life.

I think him and Vanessa are much better suited.

I remember he did an interview after they split to give context and he said most of the time they were regular clubs that he was being paid to appear at that had upstairs rooms for stripping like a lot of them do in the US. And when it was a strip club, again it was an event being hosted there. He regretted going because he knew it upset Jessica but it was good money and publicity at the time. So her book isn't giving it the context. I remember the episode she kicked off about him going to the Playboy mansion but it was an event being held there. I imagine it was similar. They both were at fault for sure but you have to look at things in context.

Watching it now its just so clear she was way too young to get married, it's why the religious think of waiting till marriage is so ridiculous imo. Just means people marry too early. If her parents hadn't forced her into marriage and allowed her to live and sleep with him unmarried it would have saved a future divorce.

He was later asked to clarify his comments but he was quite reluctant to but essentially he heavily alluded to the fact he didn't like to spend anytime with him because Joe would touch him up or make sexual comments. I can't find that anywhere but I definitely remember him clarifying further. And with what we know now, it makes sense.

Meh, I like Nick. He seems like a down to earth family man who can poke fun of himself. I'm sure if you recorded my relationship in my twenties I was a dick at times too. We live and learn.
