I like that she is honest about the Christening. I find so many people nowadays just christen their kids for the party and the day out. It is genuinely like the true meaning of what a Christening is has been lost amongst the 'party/day out' ideas. I like that she is happy to just appreciate the day for what it is, no party or cakes needed
 
Guarantee she will still post pictures etc, most likely got food in or went out for food. Crazy decor and balloons etc are pretty chavy anyway! The child is also well over a year old if it meant that much to her and isn't a big deal what took them so long! Not making a big deal about it would mean not mentioning it at all!

She’s an arse, I wouldn’t feel judged by her. Shites on about how hard it is being a “working mom” works about 30 days a year in between 85 holidays, and as mentioned, if she was all about the religious aspect why wait over a year to have him christened???

I feel a christening cake is a very old tradition here? I know my parents kept the top tier of their wedding cake for their first borns christening, my granny had it in her freezer apparently. When it was defrosted it was re-iced/ decorate for the christening

I seen jess in ranelagh maybe 2/3weeks ago she looked like a ghost didn't look well at all
