Hmm actually they cover "influencers" (any social media vlogger with a decent following is considered an influencer nowadays) a lot.
Most of their stories are from Tik Tok, Instagram, etc

This truly could not be further from the truth. They do not have a new kitchen. They do use their gofundme to make memories, to help pay for medical expenses, to cover part of Kyle's income as he used to work multiple jobs before Jen had cancer and now can't work the side hustles since he is her care giver, as stated clearly on the gofundme. I sincerely hope you find love and joy in your heart. A loving and joyful person wouldn't write this.

She has never shown any signs of having of coughing, difficulty breathing or talking. Doctors were always surprised that she had problems

Well, do we know? No. Are assumptions being made? Yes. Until there is some evidence of what the builders are needed for, I don't see the point in building elaborate scenarios around how well Jenny might cope with the dust.

And it's not 'loyalty', it's trying to keep things as factual as possible. There are too many flights of fantasy based on no evidence at all.
I don't see the point of villifying people when there is no supporting evidence.
 
She’s an influencer in as much that she does talk about and recommend products. And did a whole video on Kyle’s E bike which was gifted to her by the company, probably in an exchange for the review. So that’s influencer territory. And they also frequently promote their vegan restaurants etc. I really like Winnie’s light up box that you can put coloured toys on - I thought that would be great for my dd!

I doubt if I will watch it after reading everyone's take on it. So her first 2 treatments were in a Thurs and Fri and they just drove up from home every day and then took everyone up to the hotel for the treatments starting on Monday?

It's a 2 hr drive there and 2 hrs back but since she would just sleep both ways and Kyle is basically a robot slave it might have been better for the kids if they just did that every day.

Wouldn't the treatment be finished now anyway?. The day 2 was 28th July (parking ticket for the hotel was on the dash when parked out front of Starbucks). Was it consecutive days or weekends off?

I've not seen anyone doubting Jennys pain? The discussion was around breathing issues? If you watch all the videos the doctors don't know why Jenny is breathless, both the pulmonary team who she was referred to and her oncologist. Jenny says she feels breathless but her doctors said the only way that would be possible is if tumours had invaded the airways or there was compression on the airways, inflammation etc.

If the videos are real time or close to real time then I think Jenny completes her 2 week (10 day) PB radiation either this coming Wednesday or Thursday. Most def over the hump now and will soon be finished for her.

I hate the way 'non smoking' cancer is discussed because it can cause patients that have smoked in the past or been around smoke to feel shame and depression. I don't think its fair for those patients :(

And the title of this thread is becoming more apparent. Dying for Dollars!! So glad they got a discount on the Hotel for their stay in SD, the Hospital (specialist) hooked Kyle up when she went in for her first fitting appt, might have bankrupted them paying full price in a serviced apartment......... meanwhile other patients drive through the night and sleep in their cars when needing treatment far from home. Get wrecked.

I agree that smokers shouldn’t be discriminated against but isn’t it mentioned because the presentation is so different?

Also, I’m certainly no expert but I thought that shortness of breath is an end of life symptom which goes together with lung effusions? Where do the doctors say that they don’t understand Jenny’s shortness of breath?

I think the only people who know exactly how the funds are being used are those involved in the GFM ...just speculation unless tracie is a close family member. And when you contribute to these funds you have no guarantee how the money is spent.
 
House renovations, if there are to be any, could be related to wheelchair access. Examples: Doorways in their house may not be wide enough to allow the wheelchair to pass. If so, that would involve breaking internal dry wall on non-load-bearing walls. (I don't think that load-bearing walls, which are around the perimeter of the house and could also be elsewhere, would be broken. That would affect the structural integrity of the house and would be much more expensive than simply cutting out more dry wall around entrances to rooms. ) Front doors of many houses are wider than internal doors.
They may want to replace a bathtub with a walk-in shower.

Yes pretty much it, cells appear differently under a microscope.

Oxygen isnt prescribed to treat shortness of breath, steroids are prescribed for shortness of breath or anxiety. Oxygen is prescribed for low SP02 (Hypoxia). Jenny experienced shortness of breath shortly after she was diagnosed and doctors havent been able to find out why. If you look through her older videos you will see she repeatedly says it makes sense to her that shes got lung cancer and would be breathless, but doctors pointed out that patients only feel breathless if the airways are involved. Jennys not had airway involvement.
If you go back to her older videos when she was seeing the pulmonary team you will find the videos. I will also look for you later when my kids are asleep.
Yes, fluid accumalation can cause breathlessness, but thats why patients have drains. Draining the fluid off hasn't helped.

This is certainly true of UK patients. I know a few that have attended the Christie for a specialist treatment called IL-2 (Rarely offered these days apart from select patients). They often camp out in vehicles and sleep near the hospital :(
