She was never fat but I believe she had an eating disorder that warped her thinking and her mother used to fat shame her for gaining small amounts of weight. I have a lot of sympathy but it does make a lot of her ally-ship seem weird. You can't express solidarity with plus-size people just because you have dysmorphia that makes you think you're fat too. It just looks sarcastic or patronising.

She does look "plus size" in this picture. Her face, thighs, arms and hands all show that she is carrying significantly more weight than she does now. It's not just a bad angle or a bloated tummy. I do 🐝lieve her when she says she was plus size for a while.

In the 90s, 00s and even 10's a UK14 would have been classed as a plus size when talking about models for example. Also, the very few plus size retailers that there were would have stocked sizes 14 and up.

I'm not sure when this picture was taken, but she definitely would've been classed as plus size if she was (was she or not?!) a model.

She has NEVER been a model

It was helpful of the perpetrator to tell her his age during the process of sexually assaulting her.
 
Jameela contradicting herself yet more times...I've come to the conclusion she just twists and embellishes on the truth to suit the agenda of her argument.

Anna Vakili is larger and substantially more curvy than Jameela when she refers to herself as being a former plus size fat person.

And was it the mercury that caused the damage or the laxatives? Make ya mind up.

Add kidney damage to her list 🙄

I think it’s definitely over exaggerated but being a similar age to Jameela, the 90s were pretty rough for a teenage girl. I have some yucky stories of London at those times. I was a chubby teen and had a drunk man shout at me on a busy tube ‘don’t worry fatty I’ll f*ck’ you’ and no one batted an eyelid. I was 13! She just goes a bit far with her retelling...I don’t doubt she was groped on Oxford St but I don’t think the man would have drawn blood or needed throwing against a wall.

I agree with this, having used public transport alone for most of my teens, I've actually lost count of/blanked out the amount of times I was sexually harassed, groped/assaulted and wanked at. I do believe that Jameela has been a victim of sexual harassment, rape, etc. as many times as she states.

Even in the early 00s, when I was a teenager (I live up north) men were absolutely disgusting and would shout the most lewd things from their vans, or at you when you walked past. I remember once a group of men that worked in a warehouse behind my street shouting "show us your c*nt" as I was walking home from the theatre after a school trip, I was 14. My dad went round and bollocked the lot of them, safe to say I never had issues with them again 😂 again I have many stories like this..I'm not doubting she's been sexually harassed but she is definitely being slack with the truth.
