My dad used to smoke out of the downstairs window when he was banned from smoking in the house after mum decorated (we had the old 80s nicotine stained walls for while! Ugh) Thought we wouldn't notice but it's obvious when you're not a smoker yourself and you can smell it straight away. Glad they banned smoking in cars with kids as that was a nightmare when younger on long journeys too
