IMHO Chris doesn't like him and is creeped out by Jake's obvious crush on him but feels pity for him. I can imagine convos like this -

Chris Hughes' mate - "bleeping hell Chris, how do you put up with that bleeping weirdo Jake Quickenden? He's a bellend and I reckon he wants to bum you."

Chris Hughes "Yeah, he is a bit full on but I have to work with him sometimes. To be honest he's a tool but I feel a bit sorry for him. He's a twit but he's harmless really."

I just watched that back and only now noticed Sophie slowly walking ahead, and that's why he darted off wide-eyed! If my dope of a husband let me walk off whilst he stayed there probably volunteering selfies, I'd be fuming! 😑

Tbh that fella with the closely cropped grey hair behind Jake and Chris looking pissy is security by the looks of it. Little Chris of Off Limits Entertainment is really short with a paeeeedo moustache. He can be seen on one of the vids posted but he's not paying Jake any attention at all. He looks a bit cross on the video, maybe Fake wasn't meant to be on the red carpet at all and snuck his way on to it with Chris Hughes, who is too polite to tell him to piss off.
