Normally, there's a clear expectation set out from the gifter. If you post to your 92 pals that signed a petition to get you a tv show... we will send you suhink. Or stuff like that.

Just enjoying the whole BLM drama in thread #21 and got to @heretoreaditall2019 comment..

and despite having not spoken to any of you on a personal level, this is how I feel.

I love you guys, you make me laugh, you make me cry and you just make me feel BETTER. And I really hope that eventually I will be up to date so I can engage properly.. (flicking between June and now August is making me feel like I'm in some kind of time warp.. I can't do it hahaha).

Hmm. I think in that situation it's more on the school to prevent bullying.

Some really interesting thoughts on the old virtue signal! I definitely think performative kindness can be used by manipulative people but I guess my problem is the term is often conflated- sometimes levelled at people who are genuinely lovely and helpful or just saying something kind.

I guess we all know in our heart of hearts what side of the fence we fall on. Actions do speak louder than words but kind words can be powerful too. I do think as a term it's used very dismissively and thrown around a little too eagerly at people who are basically good eggs (not Jack)

And then I got to @IndigoStar 's poetry corner and my serious contemplative face disappeared. Give that woman a pizza oven immediately!

In Jack's latest bra pic, she doesn't look like Jack anymore. I can't figure out who she reminds me of, maybe an actress or Walter Mitty.

Maybe that's why she couldn't get the nutribullet home? Actually the boxes are quite large so she may have struggled, but seeing as she can lift 93kg sideboards she may have been OK
