It makes it look like he targeted Jack (and others) purely because of their (claimed) trans/non-binary identities and like that’s what’s driving him rather than a true desire to unearth scammers.

ETA: and motivation matters to a lot of people, hence the initial lies from him that he was an innocent subscriber honest guv before he tripped himself up and revealed he had indeed subscribed to trap her. Which is fair enough, she opened herself up to it, but lying about your motivations then having your true ones revealed does damage credibility and it’s the same for the above for me. It’s not his opinion, it’s his actions and true motivation showing through.
