So the grand total of Jack’s achievements through her ‘taking down the system’ of DW’s books is ... a load of numpties arguing between themselves on her twitter feed about whether an illustration in a children’s book looks black or white. Jeeeeeesus Christ. What a bunch of idiots.

What can I say, but bravo.

She is not a concerned Mum but a jealous snubbed would be author with axes to grind about 'white male millionaires'. She couldn't give a flying duck about children's literature or she wouldn't be fixating on one author.
She's had months of lockdown with her son off school to discuss and debate his reading material if she was that interested and concerned. But instead she takes grimy selfies in her pants and lugs tins of paint around for fruitless hobbies. Oh and spends hours and hours and hours on twitter.

This might be one of the best comments I've read on here. Absolutely Jimmy Nailed it there. Honestly I'm glad these threads on JM started, before I found them I wondered if I was going mad when I started realising none of her tit added up and nobody else was noticing!

I've seen the list of Jack's claimed health issues and I just wanna say I'm all for examining the likelihood of Jack's multiple diagnoses but also there are some genuine people out there with a laundry list of health issues. It seems like that's the latest accessory for internet personality narcissists though.

I just say this bc I have had a history of anxiety/depression/panic attacks/body dysmorphia/eating disorders (usual teenage girl self loathing combo, diagnosed by MH professionals) but also I have a bunch of allergies, scars, medical-related PTSD and a cancer diagnosis under my belt. I'm sure there's other people on this thread who have hospital files big enough to knock someone out with too and I just wanna be clear that we're saying Jack's ongoing list is an aspect of her narcissistic behaviour, and not narc behaviour in and of itself!

Why would he not pay child support? And why would she not go through the CMS to forcibly claim it?

He obviously was not a deadbeat if he was having him two nights a week and buying him things. Why would he draw the line at making sure he had enough food? That makes no sense
 
Hell I have a lot to catch up with.

I have just been on the phone with one of my best pals and discussed the whole DW thing (she had no idea as not on any social media - smart as duck girl 🤣 ) End of the last school year I bought both her boys a David Walliams book along with enough fizzy sweets to duck my friend over for the whole summer sleep wise cause I am a good pal like that :) I asked if any of the content of said books caused concern and if so I was so sorry as I thought they were just fun daft books, she replied,and word for word, what the duck are you on about, they loved them, they were great at bringing up topics to discuss and I have bought more for that reason. and trust me if there was anything she would have told me. I am not a Walliams fan per se but the books went down well with my mates kids, they are reading more (funny shite not Shakespeare yet) and I like to give a little yey you you did well this year bag (its a thing I do!)

My son loved the Horrible History series when he was around the same age, I read them too and thought they were a great way for children (and particularly boys) to learn about history through the nastier bits. Also was delighted to see him reading through choice. Took him to see Terry Deary doing a talk at the local Town Hall. I hope the 'woke' brigade are happy with this body of work.

Feel sad for SB, he clearly enjoyed reading DW. Choose your battles Jack. Use the books for discussion, don't take away the things he loves for 'woke' points. You are a mother first SJW second (or should be) Edited to correct Author name 'autocarrot'

Totally. I think the problem with JM is that she's all too wiling to overshare with graphic detail -rarely a trigger warning- and "brutal honesty" when it suits but jumps on the defensive and screams for privacy when questioned on any contradicting info that she puts out there. She changes up or puts a different slant on things to suit the conversation, I think that's what people have a problem with. That, and that her case is always the worst, most extreme case of whatever you've got or had. Also is downright rude to people who naturally suggest things that could help.
