It’s those weasel words again - “living rough” will be interpreted by almost everyone as “homeless”, sleeping on the streets (“sleeping” rough) but if she’s called out on it she thinks there’s sufficient deniability in claiming that “living rough” is the same as couch-surfing.
“Homeless-ish”, perhaps.
