Yep, that's the thing that's getting me @BeautifulTrauma Jack was forcing it onto it's paws at 1:30am the night she got it. It isn't a toy, and after an overwhelming day of being in a new home there is simply NO CHANCE that was in the kitten's best interests.
I don't think the RSPCA would be interested but that doesn't mean it's not animal abuse, it just means that animal abuse is so widespread and they are so underfunded that it would be impossible for them to manage.
And I'm editing to say that yes, I think it's abusive to force a disabled kitten onto it's paws at 1:30am the day you get it. Sue me.
