I know sometimes a hat is just a hat and there aren't special cancer hats as such but that does look very like one I have been given recently for cancer hair loss purposes from a wee company that specialises in useful bits like that ( a wee bit quick for me but being prepared). It just grinds my gears a bit to think she might have gone online and bought something like that to plant the seed. Like I say sometimes a hat is just a hat but it's just such a cancer sad face picture. It's pathetic really.

I can't speak for others, but given that Jack has described themselves as non-binary/genderqueer, and given the enormous amount of hate they've gotten for that, and from prominent transphobes, there's a certain amount of "God, are these people who abuse transwomen on my side? Then I must be wrong."

Definitely. My enemy's enemy type thing. I don't think it's a coincidence that Jack started playing on that more (inc. flags in her username) post-Molly. Jack wants the whole of LGBT twitter on her side and anyone critical is automatically a 'phobe. It's one of the things that I hate the most about her, she's trying to weaponise it when she really hasn't been an LGBT rights campaigner at all. She only mentions it to galvinise her victim status which undermines the real fight against queerphobia IMHO.
