What's mystifying me, and may have already been covered, is that she said not long ago she was planning to downsize to a smaller rental so she could save to buy. How many landlords will accept a cat and a dog? Surely that's reducing the number of places she'd be able to downsize to? Or is that plan yet another of her lies?
Yep. My thoughts exactly. She’s been wanging on about getting out of the crappy bungalow (or her and SBs home, whichever way the wind is blowing with whatever argument) and plans for her own home are 3 years off. So when she can eventually rid herself of that hellish 4 year/rolling monthly contract in 6 months, she’ll be massively limited by what she could rent for a further 3 years. But, I’m calling it now, she will be crying live that she’s homeless because none of these awful LL will allow her and her menagerie of pets to RENT. Thus the squigs will begin the go fund me for jacks forever home - quite inventive really. Looks like Laurie is another one of those investment pieces she’s bought with her advance for book 11. She knows the grift does our Jackie - can’t fault her on that.

Oh Jack you absolute arse, don't let the puppy sleep in your room from the off! At least have a go at crate training.

Anyone with a dog will know it is a big mistake to bring them into your bedroom. Those are habits that don’t leave.
my boy used to sleep in the hall happily. The OH came 8 years ago, and when he moved in the pooch started pissing against my bedroom door every night 😂 the vet said he was marking his territory. replaced the carpet with tiles and walked through a puddle every morning for a while. Tried bringing the dog into the bedroom to see if he would stop peeing. He did indeed stop peeing. That was around 8 years ago and now his bed is just to the left of ours. There is not one single chance in hell that dog will sleep anywhere but our room now.

We've got one like that; she wants to sleep under our bed and has a total strop if you pull her out. If Mr Owl and I want to do adult activites in our room without a captive audience, she's been known to spite tit in the hall as protest  I blame my brother for spoiling her when she was his dog.

Her whole approach to this just shows what an adolescent she is.

When I was in my late teens a family friend died and I walked her dog until he could be rehomed. I desperately wanted him but our cats were not happy so my Nan refused. I was so upset at the time but when I was an adult with my own cats I wouldn’t have dreamt of bringing a dog into their home and upsetting them.

Most people grow up and do what’s best for others rather than themselves all the time Jack you reprehensible wanker.

I’m sorry but the thought of the dog spite shitting outside your door when you get it on has finished me 😂😂😂😂

Yes, I relate!
my OH (I still have one, Jack) often says ‘I can’t believe what I’m about to do in front of a dog’ but honestly the dog will not leave the room. He’s the gaffer in our house. At bedtime he will not go upstairs until we’ve both gone up before him. I swear if he could switch the lights off he would insist on doing that too.

Sorry for laughing but that's hysterical

You sound like a great owner unlike her
