Babe, same.I don't know if I'm just being a sensitive Sally but I'm finding her jokes distasteful at best and offensive at worst. What is she trying to achieve?
And I’m very hard to offend.

As I live and breathe - Monty Python references
I was talking to my neighbour yesterday who works at a big car factory that may or may not have been affected by Brexit.
Anyway, he said that things are really tough because of the scarcity of parts. This factory is the lifeblood for a certain town near me and if things slow on the lines people’s livelihoods, which are already tough, will be affected beyond belief. She has no idea, living in her little Southend bubble that industries like this, which are the centre of communities still exist and that if they disappear, due to Brexit or the Pandemic or another unforeseen reason then people will simply fall off the cliff.

It's amazing how much the Yorkshiremen sketch sounds like her own material.
As with all Jacks attacks (even humorous ones), it's knowing how badly she'd react if the shoe were on the other foot that sticks in the throat.I'm gonna do something I've never done and stick up for Jack slightly here.
I spotted the Monty Python ref straight away. She often misses the mark with how she uses humour (even if it is someone else's) but at least the original sketch is funny.
I think Jack is trying to impress someone. Possibly her allegedly (alleged by me) elderly new partner.I'm gonna do something I've never done and stick up for Jack slightly here.

I just think Jack should avoid trying to be funny. It never works.I'm gonna do something I've never done and stick up for Jack slightly here.

True, she has a great gift for unintentional comedy (Potatoes, her recipes etc) but can't seem to get it right when she tries to be funny.I just think Jack should avoid trying to be funny. It never works.
EXACTLY! what? What point does she think this is making? Am I being thick? Seriously nothing makes sense, might go back to bed for a while and start the day again in an hour or so.
