caitlin moran thinks the cabal could be making better use of our hands holding tech ceos to account 🙄

article on the sali hughes thread:

TL;DR Caitlin was an editor at Popbitch, the original “dragging” newsletter. I posted deets, (not deeds, kinell 🥕am calling the onion Police) on the Sali thread so technically I’m quoting myself like a dick.

I hope aardman animations have an aftercare team. Those poor souls have seen some shhhhiiiit... Like flashbacks to 'Nam or something💔😢

Unless Aardman left their models with Jack, that pudding will have been made when they had the photoshoot, so it's probably (ro)bin fodder by now.

And I meant to ask this earlier but why does the bird have ears? STOP GETTING BIRDS WRONG!

I hope there's some explanation in the actual film as to why, but I'm not gonna sit through it to find out.

The recipes are on Pinterest (and probably other places, but this was the first to come up). I am not registered so I can only see previews.

That’s the pic she accidentally shared on insta which we thought was the fifteens. I bet Netflix have paid her a fortune for this, maybe she can pay her taxes now!

See when I talk about these places being full of housewives it’s basically:

Women know your place

Go duck yourself. I have a job, a professional one thanks. I don’t see why anyone should be able to be able to say anything they want online without being questioned. Why is that okay?

Being a SAHM / parenting is infinitely harder than my ✨professional role✨ and my non working day is both a total treat and absolutely exhausting. These Guardian-istas can’t spend much 1:1 time with their kids (or partners, or extended families) tbh else they’d know this and wouldn’t have such vile attitudes towards fellow mums.

I joke about going to work for a rest and no one calls my day at home with toddler my ‘day off’ anymore.

Same, babe! Until my employer tries to dunk their tiny little hand into a fresh cup of tea and I have 0.03 seconds to safely de escalate the situation paid work is always going to be easier. The Guardian lot sneering down at SAHMs or those of us part time as if it’s the easy choice - and as if mums aren’t doing themselves out of matched pensions contributions, salary based bonuses (as I found out this week! 😂), career progression (sadly), SLC repayments, in some instances even NI stamps or in work benefits (I think??), to do this *work* at home! bleeping morons and they’re the ones writing books on feminism for us all? Fab. I’ll go investigate Gadaffi for us all instead 🥴
