Excuse you, Hotes, the olives were desiccated, not shredded! As you are a cooking peasant and not a celebrated maverick genius chef like Jacques Monroe or Monsieur Slopbot you would not understand that the delicate balance of such a dish would be RUINED if you shredded the olives.
RE: terrible vegetarian food provisions. I spent three months in hospital a few years ago and still have nightmares about how many vegetable crumbles and quiches I had to eat
There was of course also an upsettingly gloopy mushroom stroganoff. As a bonus, one of the kitchen staff kept trying to dish me up fish meals despite me constantly telling her vegetarians don't eat fish, getting increasingly aggravated about it each time.
