This just reads as: 'Well I didn't want your bloody poverty story ANYWAY!'
Tbh, I hope the squiggle does. It's an appalling way for her to handle incredibly sensitive information. It's not like Jack's lawyer threat because the ICO can and will take very real action and I imagine, with that many emails, they wouldn't just issue a slap on the wrist?
I think anyone who has had a loved one or themselves go through the same kind of thing will feel sickened by the language. It’s very specific and triggering to one type / subset/ kind of illness. It really does go right to your heart. Sending love ❤Me too. I feel a little shaky and sick. And no one will pick her up on it.
Very classy and I imagine under legal advice he is keeping things very polite and open, in case this correspondence is needed for a more formal inquiry (into Jack, not him).View attachment 522960 qHe seems genuine and she doesn’t deserve such a classy response. I genuinely hope she has a good look at herself and engages with him as she could actually do some really good stuff for SEN children and those in poverty. Jack- please reply to him and do some good.
Why does she keep mentioning voluntary submissions, like that is a defence?? Matters not, in this case Jack, data is data
You do wonder whether it ever crosses her mind to say something like 'Oh I'm so sorry, and thank you so much for sharing your experiences with me' instead of, you know, being a total bleeping witch.
Keep digging (where’s the shovel when you need one?)
"But I can be mean to anyone I want".Jack: "I've got a note from my doctor saying that you're not allowed to be mean to me"
Think though, if she does find this email amongst all the others, what will she do with the info within it now? She's a spiteful bleep at the best of times4 years! Okay who guesses (everyone) that it’s never going to see the light of day. She needs to destroy everything and apologise. If they aren’t going to publish it this needs to be done ASAP.
She can't even find the email apparently. Talk about respecting the stories about other people's suffering like. GDPR concerns aside it seems honestly quite unkind to just ignore people after you specifically asked for stories. If you can't deal with the volume set up a stock auto response and deletion or get your assistant to filter them a bit for your attention. This just reads as: 'Well I didn't want your bloody poverty story ANYWAY!'
