Her Instagram has a few knitting projects over the years. They are all tit.

I’ve lost the post but I don’t really hear ‘gay’ used as an insult by kids any more. I can’t remember the last time. I think we all used to say it as teens because we didn’t know better. Two good friends have come out in their 30s and 40s, I’m horrified looking back at the casual homophobia they experienced when we were growing up.

I had a philips lumea one and it didn't work at all. So definitely wouldn't recommend that one! I've had my armpits and bikini line done professionally. It was very expensive but worth it as I struggle with shaving/waxing due to my sensitive skin.

She's second gen. First generation is the first generation to be born in a country.

Having said that, I've only really heard people talk about immigrant generations when both their parents were immigrants (and usually from the same cultural background). I have an uncle who was born in the UK to Pakistani parents. He's a first generation immigrant, but his daughter - whose mother is Welsh - would never describe herself as a second generation immigrant.

Yep - just wait until she gets a little older. I had to use steroids for a while (autoimmune doncha know) and I grew a full beard of fine hair. Still have it. But those few chin hairs? Welcome to the world of the older woman.

When will she stop feeding that kid absolute bleeping shite?? Bread is cut way too thick for the non-wet filling as well. How’s he going to chomp through all of that? And cheese singles! Wtf just buy real cheese you gross slob. All she feeds that boy is cheap sausages, cheap bacon, and processed carbs as filler. She has no business ever talking about nutrition, when she can’t nourish one single 10yo for not even the full week.

Second gen tends to only be used as a shorthand for “first family generation raised speaking English” in my area, so Jack wouldn’t be included at all. Obviously different communities/areas may have different usage, but it’s the only time I tend to hear it (and it’s relevant in my work sometimes)

Oh my gosh I forgot about the word ******* and also mongo. Kids would put their tongue in their lower lip and clap slowly. Quite horrible tbh but definitely all picked up from each other and used to 'look cool'.

We've talked about what being gay means too. We've always said that some men love men, some women love women and some women love men and vice versa. I don't want to make a big deal out of something that should be seen as normal. But I do make it clear that some people are unfairly discriminated against on the basis of their looks, race, religion, nationality, sexuality and that is absolutely not acceptable. It's outright bullying. We should focus on how to get along and not concentrate on our differences. Although our differences can make us interesting to each other too.
