I sometimes think that some of us here could do a better inventory of the contents of Jack's house (prices included) than she could.

Imagine hating yourself and your life that you have to live your life pretending to be a working class poverty stricken single parent.
Most people would want to better themselves and leave it all a distant memory, however Jack actively spends her days pretending she is one of these people?!
She needs the help of a psychologist to understand why she isn’t comfortable being herself. It is possible to be a 32 year old grown up, who actively campaigns for poverty charities and does it in the right way so she is included in letters and people actively want to work with her, however she she seems to think she is one of those people she’s claiming to want to help. It’s so bizarre.

With regards to her childhood, I’ve met people before who have had problems whereby they felt they weren’t given the right amount of love and affection by their parents. And she certainly feels aggrieved that there were foster children that she had to battle against for affection.
It manifests in her relationships where she looks for older, successful women to take on the role of mothering her. However it becomes apparently during the relationship that it isn’t 50/50 based on love, trust and respect. It’s like Jack treats them like it’s her Mum or Dad and acts like a sulky teenager with passive aggressive comments on Twitter and name calling. Then they leave, and Jack the narcissist can’t cope with someone leaving of their own choosing - everything needs to be on her terms and happens when she chooses. It wouldn’t surprise me if all this Twitter grandstanding and “tee her I just said the PM is a liar” is another plot to get Louisa back. She’s one of those people that to feel complete in life she has to have a partner to suck the life out of them and gradually pass off their personality and passions as her own. And that is why she is a husk when she’s single - she has nobody to take the life and energy from.

It is so bizarre isn’t it .
At some point years ago after she started to do well with publicity and books she could have taken the ‘I was once struggling , had no money and a child to support but I’ve been able to remedy that situation and I want to help others and speak for them if they want me to’ approach to being heard.

Also how bloody patronising to imagine, as she does, that one needs to pretend to have had direct experience of an issue in order to care about an issue.
She is such a fraud, and by her fraud she diminishes all of us.

Pff, JM is so late to the party regarding the £20 UC uplift (and taking action against it's removal). Jack, orgs like The Big Issue (together with a whole coalition of others, I only know this through reading the BI) hav been going on about this for weeks, if not months. You could have supported them/given them a shout out ages ago but you were too busy pretending to have COVID and knitting ugly squares.

Making a donation is all well and good - except for when you literally don't/can't/won't pay your rent on time for six months. At that point, it's just bleeping stupid and no different to buying a bouquet of flowers, a pair of leggings or a bag of something rather stimulating rather than fulfilling the terms of your rental contract.
