Jack could have done some real good over this pandemic. Why didn't she cook meals for NHS staff (like others have)? Or delivering food parcels, volunteering at the food bank, offering to pick up prescriptions, dog walking or any one of those things? Anyone care to guess?

Excuse me but you know she's immunocompromised. That's a completely unfair thing to say.

Because that would be selfless and Jack isn’t selfless.

I do love a jolly to Borough Market to buy mushrooms or a fennel bulb, but I really enjoy taking simple ingredients – things from tins, not other celebrity chefs’ ‘simple’ ingredients like truffle oil – and making some- thing restaurant-quality.”

Totally agree! An excellent book by an actual expert in fermentation! Also recommend Do Sourdough by Andrew Whitley for sourdough tips

Borough is ££££! It’s lovely but largely a tourist trap & there are better places to eat tbh. I used to date an Italian diva who whinged non stop about how difficult he found it to eat in this country, he’d go and withdraw £200, waste an entire bleeping morning and come out with like 3 blocks of crusty cheese and some jars of tit.

I remember being horrified watching him spend 2 hours cooking pasta sauce from scratch on the hob, like babes I do pay my gas bill make it stop pls

I once had a friend who lived right next to Borough Market. Lovely warehouse conversion darling! Posh twit!
He'd do his weekly shop of fresh fruit and veg, meats, cheeses, bread etc all from the bleeping market and think nothing of it!
Borough Market makes Waitrose look like the discount section in Aldi.

I have been to Borough market once. Went into the greengrocers they had there and they wanted 15.99 for a kilo of so-called exotic tomatoes. Spent the money on new knickers instead seeing at that price I tit myself. Oh yeah, in the meat section part they had some big whole hare hanging there. All I could think of was Bugs bunny. Never went back.
