Izzy Judd (Harry from McFlys wife)

I worked on the London marathon and was in hospitality when she asked for a burger for her child. She was very nice and I saw the whole family later leaving

£110 per hour? Ridiculous.

Not surprised she uses that as her real name is so weird and does not fit with the rest of her family at all. Her brothers are called something like Rupert and Magnus and she’s called…Brittany?! Have always found that really odd.
It’s a posh oldie worldie name, means from Britain. Popular in the 80s amongst the upper middle classes. Fits her perfectly well

I see the latest is Lockie being rushed to hospital for bursting a washing pod and getting it in his eye, no lasting damage thankfully.

Black and white photo for maximum drama and raising awareness (not mining for engagement and exploiting your child, their privacy and their medical history).

Do they go to the papers with these stories? Does the Mail lift them but the Judds sign off on them?

I meant to say of course accidents happen but wouldn't you be extra careful with the cleaning products and keep them in a locked cupboard or well out of reach? I don't use the pods but I understood they're in a childproof box as another precaution.

It seems most responsible adults are aware of the risk however influencers like Izzy feel it's their duty to go straight to the media to educate us mere mortals and 'spread awareness' (which the manufacturers have already covered in their advertising). How about count your blessings, accept responsibility and deal with your child's medical event in private instead of making monetized content from it?

I think believing in these things varies hugely by child & is also hugely influenced by their peers. Lola is 9 in January & I don’t think that’s an unreasonable age.

There are kids in my child’s class who already don’t believe in Santa & they are 7 😩

It’s not the easiest thing these days.. it’s a minefield! For example, Santa brings all our kids gifts but my daughter best friend, Santa only brings one gift & the rest are from mum & dad 🙈 some of my daughters class can’t touch their elves, some can & some don’t have one at all.. it’s getting harder to explain the variations!

I remember my daughter questioning why Santa brought her inexpensive items whereas some of her friends got iPhones etc!
