The guinea pigs could probably climb out if they wanted too, especially when they get a bit bigger and can reach. I've had 4 guinea pigs and I think at least one climbed and jumped out the cage we had. I don't understand why it doesn't have a door, at least then if the dog did get annoyed by the guinea pigs, it wouldn't be able to get hold of them.Does anyone else feel uneasy over how the sides of the cage are open? I‘ve only ever has a hamster but he used to climb up the sides of the cage and escaped a few times, I’m guessing guinea pigs can’t climb as well as they are bigger but couldn’t they still get out if they climb on top of something? Plus, I know she said her dog wouldn’t hurt them but accidents do happen and even the most placid seeming animals can lash out. Also, why did she put up that massive cage in her room? I know guinea pigs need lots of room (that’s the reason we never got any) and Kiera does have a big bedroom, but it’s bursting at the seams. Plus, I don’t understand why she wanted a full sized Christmas tree in her room. She can barely move around in their anyway, without having a massive tree in there. I never understand why people make such a big deal of spoiling their kids on their first Christmas, the amount of toys Kiera gave Oskar over advent is probably more than some kids got for Christmas. What’s he gonna do with 24 toy cars? She’s already lost a load anyway because her siblings take them. You can really tell she’s still a teenager when she does things like this.
With the toys, Oskar didn't seem that interested anyway. I think with children under 2, toys at Christmas should be limited as they aren't going to play with it all. Sensory things are much more entertaining for them and also her room wouldn't be so cluttered! When Oskar starts pulling himself up and walking, she's going to need to move things out of his reach so he doesn't get hurt!
