The amount of junk she has on her walls, especially round her bed, is absolutely nuts... I don’t know how it doesn’t drive her crazy. She ‘tidies’ it by adding more stuff

Surprised she could fit anything else in that room! She has a loft space in her room, instead of using it as a 'hangout' area for her and Zak, she can clear all the useless junk into there. The room is not baby proofed at all and it makes me very uneasy

Literally clicked on that video thinking “room transformation” finally she’s ordered a skip and is getting rid of all of that unnecessary tit in that room but noooo she’s buying more!!!! Please for god sake why can’t she bin those drawers that are falling through. They piss me off on every single video. Just bin them. Please please can someone buy this girl a set of drawers ffs. I can’t take it any more!

I think she gets away with the state of her room because health visitors would’ve been doing virtual checks for the entirety of Oskar’s first year due to COVID. I can’t imagine they would tolerate the guinea pigs if they could visit the home. Clearly her mother doesn’t see the mess.

If that was my room WITHOUT a baby my mom would come in put everything into black bags and Chuck it on the front garden... she did this once when I left clothes on the floor as a teenager ( my room used to get a little messy but nowhere near hers especially with the guinea pigs
) and you bet my room was spotless after this. Why isn’t her mom saying anything ffs
now I have a baby I would never ever put my son in that danger with clutter everywhere breathing in so much dust, hair and mess it makes me feel ill

Kiera even said that the loft has just been turned into a storage space for all the toys she bought Oskar for Christmas. Didn’t she think when she managed to mostly fill a room with toys she’d maybe bought too many and should maybe think about returning or donating some of it? I think there are 3 ways Kiera could use her loft space to help make her room tidier and safer.
1. She could have the loft as an organised storage space. Instead of just dumping things they have no room for up there I think Kiera and Zak should go up and see what things they actually use and what could be put into storage until, perhaps toys for when Oskar’s older. They could even build some wardrobes or draws up there and keep all their clothes in there to save on some space. They seem to have easy access to it so could just get out the clothes they want for the next day at night.
2. Put the guinea pig cage up there. Of course, they’d have to take apart the cage and rebuild it up there (hopefully Kiera kept the old cage so they can temporarily stay in that) but it’d really help them make some more space and keep the room cleaner. Kiera can go up there a couple of times a day to play with them and check on them when Oskar’s napping.
3. Turn it into a playroom. No Oskar is older and more mobile he definitely needs more space to play. They could easily just clear some space by having an area where all his toys are stored and then putting down some mats that can be his play area, then he’ll have a different room to play and sleep in. Plus they’ll have more space to move in there, and if Kiera or Zak need some time to do some work or tidying they could do this whilst the other plays with Oskar, meaning he’s totally out of the way.

so she's able to spend £250 on clothes but can't spend £80 on a new dresser from Ikea?? she needs to get her priorities straight. that broken dresser could fall on Oskar and kill him! poor baby doesn't deserve to be stuck in that unsafe room all the time

But I just started watching Kiera because she’s been talked about so much in the Mia thread, normally in a positive way and I was curious to see how bad her room is
so I’ve been watching from the start and I did like her, she seemed way more mature and attentive to her sons needs, researching safety etc..
but then I see that she weaned Oskar (stupid spelling sorry not sorry
) early because he’s “hungry” and she wants him to sleep better 
that’s it I’m done I’m never watching any mum vlogger ever again
she also somehow makes me cringe more than Mia and I didn’t think that was possible
Plus if I see another toddler stuck in a small boring room for their whole life I will literally go insane. It really doesn’t take that much to go outside ffs

It’s not advised to wean at 4 months anymore the NHS guidelines are 6. Wanting him to sleep longer isn’t a good enough reason to wean him so early IMO that’s selfish and just for her benefit. It’s scientifically proven now that baby’s tummy’s aren’t ready for food at 4 months hence why it’s changed to 6. Science develops so does the adviceher mum probably did advise her and her mum probably did the same with her kids

In fairness Oskar is a legit spelling in European countries such as Germany or Poland, it’s not stupid.
Not sure why Keira picked to spell it that way, but definitely in Europe it isn’t unusual, it is fairly unusual for the UK unless your heritage is from Europe
