Yeah, she said nothing is off limits… if it’s going to be similar to old ItGalz I’ll absolutely be listening
All you actually comment in here is how tit RR is & how amazing L is, it’s getting old, dunno which member of the L gang you are (Shauna or L herself ) but you’ve an opinion on every vlog J makes which makes me think you watch every one of her vlogs, weekly, just for something to comment negatively about her on here? I highly doubt J has her friends or fella running here posting exaggerated gossip, ( Need we forget your mad story about sitting in a restaurant beside L & her talking about Evan cheating at gaff parties ..) The absolute pettiness of it allIf there’s a new one coming out every week please share what they are called so I can listen properly missing it galz. RR definitely sold it like that (need we forget the ballgag) and now she’s talking about the roots of rock and roll. That she clearly hadn’t a clue about until she “deep dove” into Wikipedia and YouTube archives lol. L does go there with the shock factor so I trust it’ll be juicy (at least I’m hoping!)
I meannnnn she does have a point? The roots of rock and roll isn’t really anything that I would consider a RR topic. Also, it’s ok to miss it galz? Hardly pettyAll you actually comment in here is how tit RR is & how amazing L is, it’s getting old, dunno which member of the L gang you are (Shauna or L herself ) but you’ve an opinion on every vlog J makes which makes me think you watch every one of her vlogs, weekly, just for something to comment negatively about her on here? I’d imagine it’s on purpose to create hype/speculation, which in fairness it has got people here talking about if there’s a new podInteresting that Lauren was posting the question box and L hasn’t posted anything or reposted Lauren’s story. She doesn’t seem to be advertising starting any pod but the insta minions have been.. (Clara, Shauna, Lauren)
Maybe in J’s world looking at the roots of rock is ‘peeling back the curtain on the weird & wonderful’.I meannnnn she does have a point? The roots of rock and roll isn’t really anything that I would consider a RR topic. Also, it’s ok to miss it galz? Hardly petty
Idk, I thought for a topic so interesting she made it really boring. She doesn’t really bring anything new to the table/offer a new perspective.I never subscribed to xgalz or red room, just listened to Jennys free episode on scientology, actually enjoyed it - but i'm fascinated by cults, so i feel like a lot of her episodes wouldnt interest me cos theyre on topics i have no interest in
I feel like if someone said they had overheard J saying that about L it wouldn’t be met with as much resistance on here. No one who writes on here about L is accused of being J or one of her friends either… let people gossip on a gossip forumAll you actually comment in here is how tit RR is & how amazing L is, it’s getting old, dunno which member of the L gang you are (Shauna or L herself ) but you’ve an opinion on every vlog J makes which makes me think you watch every one of her vlogs, weekly, just for something to comment negatively about her on here? People here are a spec in the ocean, such a niche and ever dwindling audience. I would understand the tactic if they were famous but they’re really not.I’d imagine it’s on purpose to create hype/speculation, which in fairness it has got people here talking about if there’s a new pod
what covid misinformation did he spread? So I actually started listening to the docket episode about Joe Rogan (thought I had cancelled RR but hadn’t, raging) and I couldn’t get through it. Jenny talks about how she listens to Tucker Carlson sometimes and then her and Adam start talking about how Joe Rogan isn’t a scientist, why shouldn’t he have these guys on etc. The issue is that he has a massive podcast and is sharing blatant COVID vaccine misinformation on there, which directly leads to people dying, especially in the states. What’s not to get!? I can’t stand the two of them they act like they’re smart but honestly they came across as thick as two short planks. And I was a Jenny fan for a minute. Sorry for the rant but I’m so done with her.
It’s either alt right shite or incredibly boring stuff about the history of rock n roll. Far more interesting music scholars out there who I’d rather listen to and who actually know what they’re talking about.
He said hospitals are financially incentivised to record covid as a cause of deathwhat covid misinformation did he spread?
He had a doctor on his podcast who spouted a load of misinformation and half truths. It was not researched properly and his claims were baseless, or left vital information out.what covid misinformation did he spread?
In fairness people who consistently drag J couldn’t really accuse anyone supportive of being J’s mate cos she has none, remember? Consistent at leastI feel like if someone said they had overheard J saying that about L it wouldn’t be met with as much resistance on here. I don't sub to RR so I'm not sure the context of Tucker Carlson reference, but she was quoting Jacobin in the free podcast. A person on the alt right would literally burst into flames if they ever read Jacobin. Without having listened to that pod, perhaps the problem is not that she's alt right (which I disagree with) but that her entire angle on topics like that is unclear. The lack of position makes her seem like her politics lie firmly in the centre, which is understandably frustrating. I feel like I consume a lot of the same media as her and people do actually make their positions clear. Say in Red Scare, those hosts are on the left even if they talk some amount of shite, they have stated that they are on the left and so we read all conversations they have in that context. Jenny has yet to provide us with her angle, so by presenting media from the alt right and the left, without her own position, it makes her arguments seem bizarrely in the centre. I think one can have too much media training when it comes to stuff like this, and actually your audience trust you better when they know what your politics are.So I actually started listening to the docket episode about Joe Rogan (thought I had cancelled RR but hadn’t, raging) and I couldn’t get through it.
