no surprise that she's unnecessarily freaking out, she's got a real lack of knowledge about health and basic biology. I'd guess she's texting Penny day and night.

Health anxiety is real and an awful thing, but health ignorance is needless when there's so many good resources freely available.

I suppose at least she's been getting her smear test and will be getting it checked out, and isn't ignoring it and throwing gfm money at reiki instead to "heal".

and... I do understand it being tough for her to go back to holles st.

I'm perplexed why her doctor in Greece would tell her that having HPV and cervical changes is nothing to worry about fertility treatment-wise. For the average woman, it's fine but by the time she's seen in Holles Street and gets results, it'll nearly be time for her trip to Greece.

She probably needs at least a biopsy or a Leep procedure and she can't rush into fertility treatment after those.

I was the same-like why would she say no bother. She will need a biopsy and maybe treatment and then then recover for that. It’s not just o I have HPV good to know move on.
 
As someone who used Waterstones myself, that text relationship is way beyond the bounds of professionalism. I know that there’s a country barrier thing but come on, the woman is paying a clinic to get her pregnant. She’s needy enough as an adult let alone an adult doing ivf. That chit chat isn’t normal. I would always email my consultant through the portal on the Waterstones SECURE portal or a nurse might contact me. But texting Penny morning noon and night is just a bit much . Also I have a feeling olive loves misery. She thrives off the attention. I know she desperately wants a baby but I can tell you if she does get and stay pregnant it will be hospital visit after drama after chaos.
 
I’ve had HPV found in a smear- got my biopsy and colposcopy in Holles St in a timely manner and was never told anything like “done get pregnant”. I obvs abstained from sexy time, which I assume isn’t an issue for Ollie!

To be fair when you’re having treatment the clinic won’t touch you till they have a letter from the colposcopy clinic saying it’s ok to go ahead.

I do 100% agree that she’s a misery merchant but I kinda do get why she’s upset now, the leg has delayed her and now potentially this. I get it. Still don’t agree with how she does things and things she says and DEFINITELY STILL DONT AGREE HER HAVING A GO FUND ME😳 but I kinda do feel sorry for her about this

guess that's why she's doing gfm - needs to fly to Greece to get this level of hand holding and text chat. Afaik this Penny one owns or is a director of the clinic but isn't one of the doctors.

Ollie has been v complimentary about that clinic and has been strongly encouraging other ppl to go there - I wonder if she's getting a finders/referral fee/discount? If so, think she should be transparent about it.

She had a polyp removed its not a huge thing. She is always a drama queen everything is worse with her. But she's a nurse so she knows how to dramatise everything.

God. I only started following recently and looked to me she has been through a lot with all those rounds she had to have cancelled.

Ya she did but most people going through fertility treatment have push backs. Not disputing she didn't have an easy road. But the story's last night annoyed me she was dramatising everything.
