I don't think the photos with AE where ever good, even in the early days. She always dominated him right from the start. Their "honeymoon phase" gave me the ick but this honeymoon phase doesn't. With AE it was always "LOOK AT ME I AM SOOOO HOT AND LOOK WHAT I GOT"

ETA you can see the bruise over his eye where she whacked him with the golf club here too. Another red flag. I can't see BW doing that.

Well, Alice, for starters get Helen's name out of your filthy mouth and don't dare compare yourself to her. Helen was immensely talented, funny, hugely well-loved, and respected within the industry and by her family and she was all the things Alice is not. Cillian Murphy adored her and was devasted when she died. He wrote in The Guardian how wonderful and what a great friend she was.

I doubt Helen and Damian wanted anything to do with Alice when they lived in LA. They all came up at the same time, there was of a photo of them (minus Matthew) taken in 2000 in an article about how the British were conquering America which Dominic and Damian did. I would bet good money, Alice would beat Ioan over the head with Dominic West, Damian Lewis and Matthew Rhys's success.

On a side note. Helen was was one of those celebrity deaths that knocked me for six. I wish she had been made a Dame or that they could give her that honour posthumously. Helen and Damian lived in Tufnel Park, they bought Hugh Laurie's old house off him

All of these guys have had varying degrees of success and at varying times. They all had talent and they all had luck. When Alice met Ioan had more fame than these guys by virtue of Hornblower. In the 00’s he held his own for a good period, when it went lacklustre. We can sort of figure out why.

I‘m not sure why people neg on Ioans career. He’s not Hollywood A list but that’s a very small number of people who had really lucky breaks.

As far as I can see Ioan has an impressive acting CV. I have no doubt his wife negged on him and belittled him. She is an evil witch. But I don’t really get why others do. I never watched Hornblower but I knew who he was. Probably from the F4. I tried out a couple of the series he did, based on his name. Found Forever generic, very much in the Elementary vain in terms of plot and character, as someone said filler TV. I tried a bit of Harrow but never put it on a link.

I‘m sorry but he gets lead roles in TV dramas. Which is pretty much were all those guys are. Why the negging?

My friends parents are stage actors … you’ll have never heard of them but they’re minted and have travelled and performed all over the world .. I agree he makes a good living 🕊❤
Also remember that interview he gave where he said the pressure of getting jobs in order to pay for schools etc that bint would have been snapping at his heels every 5 mins .. he’s probably took jobs he wouldn’t have normally … I’m so happy they are happy 😃

Agreed 💯. And they bought it as she knew they would so he's still being slated. 😞 Abuse by proxy. The unfairness of it gives me the rage. 🤬
The only person who deserves to be slated is Alice. I really hope Yo uses everything else he has on her & makes it public.

ETA - not to mention she has known the house needed to be sold for a year.

His series get pretty much always cancelled after one season (Harrow got 3, but it's in Oz), and none of his movies were huge success either (F4 technically, but not for a superhero movie). Probably Hornblower is his biggest success which was over 20 years ago.

It just isnt comparable to Damien and Dominic. With regards to Matthew you could maybe argue that overall their careers are similar. First 10 years he had the better one and he has a better big screen career in general, while Rhys has clearly the better small screen career. But in the past 10 years they are clearly apart.

Also one way to measure success is money. They are all loaded, Ioan isnt, he is doing a lot of solid work, but that's it. I do think he had the talent for more though but we went through this already.

Had Forever got the extension it deserved all could have been different though

He’s got a good career and worked with some of the best over the years. Yes it’s been a bit patchy here and there but once this is done I hope he lands a couple of great roles soon. It’s a small crowd of actors who are true “a” listers and the rest have a good career plugging away.

no doubt she expected him (and he probably expected it too) to be the A Lister and no doubt she’s belittled him when it didn’t turn out that way and I’m convinced her actions have harmed his career To a degree. Getting banned from sets, calling him on set; making demands and knocking his confidence. 🙁
