Merry Christmas, dear Turds! 🎄🎄🎄 I‘ve been in Japan for the past 4 weeks (and grateful it has been fairly quiet on the Alice front) and didn’t have much opportunity to post, but wanted to thank you all for being such a clever, funny and warmhearted bunch - you never fail to cheer me up and make me marvel at your Sherlockian skills.

Funny how this article talks about all the different jobs that the female characters have in the Hallmark movies, but I don't remember Alice's character in 'The Christmas Card' having a job. I feel like all she did was eat other people's food, live off her parents, and had a rich boyfriend. She ended up with the soldier who she sent the card to, but I don't remember her having a job. Maybe I am mistaken, but if I am not, how fitting!

Oh, and my contribution to the game: A slob with no job!

I have yet to muster the courage and fortitude to watch The Christmas Card. I am waiting on @StewPots (who did offer herself up as tribute) to suffer in turd-sisterhood and then report back to us.

I know I know! I neeed to watch it 🤦‍♀️ but have had a constant houseful and been watching Christmas classics instead.

However today it is just my partner and I, and I am on bed rest so perhaps today will be the day as he will want to watch either sport or some sort of Marvel film downstairs 🤣

I'd go for the sport tbh, even if it was a 5 day cricket match or golf! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, fingers crossed you come back from the dark side with your sanity intact. 💪

Just looking at FB and people are talking about their Xmas Day with the ex. This is how grown up people do it (if there is no abuse!)

"I am very fortunate to have an ex wife who is lovely and, with me puts our children first. My ex, sees it as very important that I am included in all major stuff with our children. Also her second husband is OK with this. Some do see this is odd, but ultimately is good for our children, for us to be this way..."
