I see her minions are pushing pretty intensively the narrative that Ioan's lawyer expenses should have gone into keeping Ella (who already refused to see him before she even entered that school) in the super expensive school and the kids in the house for stability.

Here a question to the minions: Why not the same energy for Alice pulling Elsie out of her long term school? It's much much bigger in terms of causing instability than what Ioan was forced to do. And if the housing issue was about stability would you have accepted it if Ioan moves back in and Alice out and she uses the payout to rent a tiny apartment like Ioan does atm)? (the house was in large HIS seperate property). It's about the kids, right? RIGHT? So it shouldn't matter which parent benefits?

The truth is nothing is this is about the kids. It's all about Alice. The kids are just used to gain the moral high ground by coercing them into being a package deal. And anyone who supports this should duck off.

As an aside: STOP pretending that everything a parent earns should be spend on what the kids want. If Ioan feels 400k are worth it for his PROTECTION and for re-establishing a RELATIONSHIP to his kids (he wouldnt have one if he was paying for everything either, as mentioned Ella was refusing to see him already back then) he is within his rights to do that. If anything the blame is here entirely on Alice for forcing Ioan into this situation. The kids are not entitled to luxury, they are entitled to a roof over their head, food, education and the occasional perk - beyond that is bonus.

Let’s not forget that Ioan didn’t want to send her to that school and didn’t agree to it. Alice wanted it to the point of saying she would pay for it. But she has instead chosen to pay for eBay tat, an overpriced apartment and a nanny she doesn’t need.

We are about to go into another round of Ioan taking the blame for Alice’s vindictive decisions that put her children‘s security and education at risk so that she can badmouth him to 3-4 misfits.

I just started writing the same thing. If it was me then I would want my kids in BH schools too but I would have rented a smaller 2 bed apartment and started on my CV and job hunting. I do think Alice has been out of a job such a long time now that it would be scary for her. I wish someone would go around and guide her and hold her hand with getting a job.

Just a brief look at rentals for BH and there are indeed cheaper 2 bdrms. Of course as many mentioned the credit checks, dog deposits etc. may be problematic for her. In fact how can she even pay for movers if she is braying about funds. She can’t move them out of district - school will tell them to transfer. It is likely I&B have lease they can’t break so they can’t move into that area quickly. Also they have only been in area less than 6 months and we aren’t even Big e is in school (I hope so). It is telling that mAlice has apparently no friend group willing to find her some word of mouth rental or guest house.

Also her harping about private school again via sock makes me yawn. Sheesh even Kevin Costner has kids in public schools (albeit in very rich district). Judge won’t care that malice sent her to that school basically without her husbands (at the time ) consent. Even Baumgartner (Costners ex) was considered capable of getting job (ironically she sold handbags too but much fancier legit ones that Costner probably invested in).

The hours on social media bus socks versus doing thing that truly would help herself are astonishing.

Try as I might, I can't see Alice giving two flying effs about the girls' education. If Ottumwa, Iowa, were to suddenly become the centre of the entertainment industry with truckloads of famous neighbours, posh restaurants and expensive housing, she'd move there in a heartbeat, no matter the quality of the schools. She desperately wants to be a part of the celebrity crowd, and in her warped view, living in one of THE zip codes is crucial. Nothing whatsoever to do with concern about her daughters' wellbeing and future, I reckon.

Bh has excellent public schools . I've said this in earlier threads but best move ioan could make is to rent a two bed appartment in BH and guarantee kids can stay in that sytem . Would show he is committed to their education and is taking a proactive position to offset Alice's precarious one . The babyz need their dad and tbh BH is the smallest best funded School district on this side of the mountains especially middle school . I have to give Alice this one . I'm glad Lin got therapy and has been able to move on. You have to be pretty hurt and angry in yourself to rage like that at others, regardless of what guff they are selling you. Idk how long Deb knew she had to live but it's good for both of them that they finally saw through Alice and were able to move away from that negativity and hopefully focus on themselves and find some peace in her last days. Whether Ioan and Bianca knew she was ill it was very kind and generous of them to forgive them both so completely. I'm sure it gave Deb some peace. Lin said she reads here but doesn't feel welcome to post. I hope she has friends and family in her real life who are giving her love and support. ❤
