I know some people think Alice couldn’t get an acting job, but I disagree.

Dare I say it, but she isn’t actually a terrible actress — at least, on screen. Or at least, there are far worse performers making a living.

Of course she’s masses too old to play a romantic lead in Hollywood, and the roles would be limited, but she could play the mother of the lead in some godawful TV movie or similar and attempt to manage to keep a roof over her kids’ heads, if she wanted to. Hell, there are psycho roles out there that I’m sure she could do a great job at… She could at least try. She seems to think that’s not her responsibility and if Ioan can’t pay for stuff then the stuff doesn’t happen.

I think it’s her personal reputation that would put off any future production from considering her, rather than her acting capabilities (which were okayish at best, and as you say, there are far worse out there scraping by).

Divorce craziness aside, she just comes across as an enormously difficult person, with addiction issues and lack of discretion thrown in.

Not to mention her physical appearance, which she’s seriously neglected and over-filled, or her self-diagnosed medical issues, which render her ‘80% bed-bound’ .

She’d need a huge personal makeover on all levels, inside and out, and some form of public redemption (rehab? Apologizing for and admitting to her own awful mistakes and past abuse? etc), before she’d be a viable option.

It seems she couldn’t even hold onto an agent. There’s a reason her acting opportunities dried up, and it begins and ends with Alice.

The current DVRO has to be a huge difficulty for her. It must make her a pariah in the industry. At least for as long as it stands. Maybe she can turn it all around, but her insta bio updates don’t suggest she’s got any intention of playing any other role than that of victim.

Comédien is another way of saying actor in French. Although I agree that video is unintentionally hilarious.

I wasn’t around in Sept 2021 so it’s likely talked about then, but I saw last night the Instagram video of the stick insect. Has anyone else listened to that? She is berating Elsie’s teacher and I think purposely recording someone doing it then posting it online as a duck you to her teacher.
Sorry it’s a bit off topic but I was blown away when I heard it last night.
Apparently it’s not Elsie that’s not listening it’s Miss Heidi the teacher that isn’t.

I can't believe how well my crown fits on my trash heap head

It must feel amazing to have the dead-weight of that mortgage off his hands. Now he can start really rebuilding his life, in a relationship with a sane adult. The custody trial is coming up faster than we think as well. I do wonder if they will all remain in LA? Is this likely?

Ioan goes around the world to WORK. His flights are paid for by the productions.

If Alice is so very poor, and had to launch a Gofundme, why did she continue to carry on buying clothes and makeup from eBay, and go out to the Chateau Marmont and Soho House?

Absolutely nothing stopping the lazy bleep from getting a job and paying for her own children. It blows my mind these tubes think only the man can provide, especially when he paid for a nanny! I’m proud of providing essential and goodies for my children in equal measure. It feels great and teaches them self worth. Something Alice and her orcs lack.

I absolutely LOVE being a working mother (no shade to those who stay home, that’s work too), for many reasons, but one is the immense sense of satisfaction I feel knowing that I’m providing for my kid and that the food he eats, toys he plays with and roof over his head are paid for by my and my spouse’s hard work. It feels great. It just says a lot about Alice that her laziness and self absorption is more powerful and important to her than her love for her kids and her pride in taking care of them. They could starve and be homeless for all Alice cares, she genuinely believes her responsibility towards them was complete the day she gave birth to them and from that point onwards it’s someone’s else’s job to pay for them (Ioan) and raise them (Gloria).

Unlike some others, I don’t really judge or blame her for not working during the marriage if that was the decision they made (I do judge her for pretending she gave up a glittering career reluctantly which is a lie), and I do believe everything either of them earned during the marriage belonged equally to them both. Staying home with the kids is work that contributes not only practically but financially (when they’re tiny, once they’re school age it’s harder to justify not picking up work imo). But her absolute entitlement to think even after divorce it’s solely Ioan’s job to fund them is just wild.

Alice needs to be a mother, but she never will be. Not in anything other than name.

OMG that picture made me crave cake! When I was little, they used to sell these amazing looking cakes/ tarts: layers of cream made of butter whipped with sugar, between thin moist slices of sponge, decorated with crystallised fruit and mountains of more cream. A hideously glorious combo of sugar, fat, processed shite on top of more sugar and crap. How I wanted these cakes as a child!!!! My family never bought them - they made their own nice healthy ones, but I wanted cream and all that! I only ever got to try them at other kids parties and inevitably had tummy ache every time after. As a grownup I cant understand how it could even look appealing. But that giffy - oh, it suddenly and violently awoke my childhood craving!

Loan is an hole, and is more than likely hiding cash and assets, but you can't blame him given how much Alice has milked since they separated, trashed his name endlessly and used the kids as a weapon. The woman is barking and needs help. They both need to move on. The kids can live in a smaller house, it's not going to ruin their lives.
