It would probably poke the bear too much, you would basically have Alice twice having a meltdown over a finalized divorce.

If I was him I would have done this straight away though. Alice was for a long time (and actually still is a bit, as her posts about him before the police visit prove) in denial about this whole thing.

I always want to post this in every thread but when I think of Alice saying their youngest doesn't give a flip about anyone, let's think of this Welsh love between father and daughter.

I think things must be going well. I don't think that yo and need to withhold anything but I wonder if the therapist isn't working on normalizing them as a couple for the girls.

the therapist will start out in a neutral position, i.e. there wont be much on Alice as she isnt the one who asked for the therapy but rather on how to reconnect with their father. Any issues with their mother will only be really addressed with time when they are more likely to open themselves and when the therapist has gathered more info (watching Alice's twitter feed over the weekend will have done the job tho LOL).

The Bianca stuff will likely come up when addressing the issues with their father, but more in the "its ok to date someone else" way (which is why them nagging their mom about a new partner could be a good sign).

I would imagine Ioan and his legal team have prepared for every scenario. They would have known she would kick off when he was in NY. She’s a predictable loony now. They are more carefree because they know she’s a busted flush. She would still swear blind she was the smartest person in the room. She’s wrong of course. She has completely mucked up her life. She is demonstrably a fool. A classic example of how not to divorce. She could have parted with Ioan on friendly terms. We will give her the benefit of the doubt and say she suffered heartbreak (difficult typing that with my fingers crossed behind my back) but the reality is her ego is monumental and him walking away, coupled together with her no access to money and a lifestyle out of her reach on her own, has irreparably damaged her ego and pride. With time she could have got over the break up, and gone onto forge a new life. She has blown it. Nobody in the industry will employ her, and no man will go near her - her reputation goes before her, and very stupidly it has all played out online at her behest. Pride goeth before a fall. There are no news yet, but going by how the dealt with "Around the World in 80 Days" (was also a co-production between them, RAI and France 2) I suspect they will at some point dump everything into their Streaming offer and then fill the program before Xmas with it.

Yes, BW was a party in interest--the DVPO protected her, too. And at the hearing, Alice was not the victim--she was the subject of the DVPO and her butthurted-ness wasn't really of tremendous concern to the court at that time.

I've mentioned this before in previous threads, but please, consider that some of the Tattlers here are tall, me included.

Comments like this aren't helpful; Alice didn't look good with Ioan not because of her height, but because of her body language and attitude. There are several tall actresses and models with shorter partners, and they look fine together.

I don't consider myself to be manly even though I'm almost 6ft tall. Rather, I try and appear as elegant and feminine as possible. My boyfriend is also shorter than me, and I'm very aware that's not a social norm.

Also, the hostility and pointed comments I get from short women in real life really wears me down. Heightism is real and it seems it's the only body feature it's acceptable for people to make unsolicited comments on.

I still believe that Alice didn't want Ioan but she didn't want anyone else to have him. I believe the marriage had been very unhappy for quite some time and would have ended a lot sooner if Ioan hadnt worked away. I don't think Alice banked on Ioan not bowing to the horrendous abuse she was doing to him and this is where we are. Alice will claim she's a victim till her dying breath but the proof is in the pudding and she's over egged it!
