By the way those court documents caused some people on this thread to need to take a break or caused them to feel physically sick. Also they can make you relive your own trauma as it did for me.

Jessica Duggan on her GFM doesn't like Ioan (He's a 'creep' for some reason) but "christ almighty" Alice is "something else"!

I'll admit I've only just woken up and an catching up on this convo, so if I'm getting something wrong let me know. How do we know Ioan didn't try and invite the girls to Monaco? All we have is Alice's say so. He may have tried and she blocked it.

Monaco was a business trip - I'd think it unlikely that children would accompany their parent(s) for such

I don't know...she sounded pretty bad in the marriage proposal story. :(

But I guess that was 7 yrs into the relationship. Maybe at first her frenetic personality was exciting. Opposites attract kind of thing.

It's been said in these threads before, but I'm sure Alice was just "interesting" and "quirky" and "fun" when Ioan met her. Like many abusers, she wouldn't have let her true colours show until she had her hooks in him (they were married). I have no doubt she gaslit him and made him think he was the crazy one and he may have rationalised her behaviour saying she was stressed by the IVF and stressed about his working away. I reckon it took him getting distance by being away filming Harrow for an extended period for him to get perspective.
