It is so odd how she does not have an image of them in Italy or even mention it in title. If it was a paid work trip to give the hotels and area some exposure then wouldn’t you at least want a beautiful photo to encourage people to click on it? If that photo comes up in suggested for non subscribers they wouldn’t know it’s a travel vlog. Right? 🤨🤷🏻‍♀️
 
If she's such a professional travel journalist why is she eating the same meal at the same restaurant twice in a row? and the hotel restaurant in particular - she's hardly showing us everything they have to offer.

Her theoretical 'top pasta of all time' list makes me laugh at well, she only eats at hotel restaurants where they provide her with free meals, she's not researching and trying the best restaurants in Italy!

I blame the PR for this as much as her. I have no real idea about all of that but surely you would insist upon a standalone vlog probably per hotel (assuming they aren't part of the same group), appropriately titled for seo terms, disclosed properly etc.

I think it's because she always gets less views on her trip vlogs. She is so calculated and sneaky.

She justifies this trip as a "work trip" and needs to take "content" of outfits etc, but she's there for the hotel, a real journalist would have taken photos of the hotel and done a write up about the hotel. This isn't work this is more photos and excuses to buy clothes for her feed...i think they have it too easy now and don't really understand what work actually is. Im sure at the start they worked hard, but realistically Vic doesn't post nearly as much as she used or nearly as much variation of content like she used to. Also her face is changing so much without all the botox and filler. Very evident. I don't think its bad to get anything injected in your face, but she could at least admit to it, especially how obvious it is now
 
Oh my gosh I am a few min in and I can't stand the lisp, and we didn't need to see the scrape on Alex's love handle :sick: . Also you'd think if lighting and sunsets were important to them they'd figure out which side is east and which is west right when they arrived? I can't imagine getting away with such sloppy work at a real job.
 
Also the Dior bag is a Harrods exclusive so why did they send it to Italy for her to photograph?? You'd think they would want her to pose with it in London 🧐 :unsure: . Despite me hating the bra under the blazer look, I did like her Alexander McQueen trousers just don't think wool in August in Italy is really appropriate...

Tbh, I think he is compensating something with the tattoos. He has some inner struggle. (Disclaimer: I have nothing against tattoos and would like some myself, but I'm too poor at the moment I just see some pattern in some of his behaviour that rings my alarm bells).

Yes, the trouser were really nice. I didn't understand why she brought so many wool-y stuff with her. Very strange choice of clothes. But I think she has now to promote more autumnal styles since the summer nears its end (😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭) and no one goes on and buys summer dresses in large quantities any more.
Was the book tote the "normal" big one or the medium one? I found it very big and it is sad she doesn't use her own colourful one (after the classic influencer speech of getting sooooo much wear out of it).
 
I watched the vlog after a few hours once I realised it was in fact a vlog and not a haul video, I have some thoughts :unsure:

Everything she says sounds way more vapid and dumb to me now... at one point "it's not like scorchio hot today otherwise we would be really hot by now" ... it's not hot so you aren't hot?

I can't believe she got a new cashmere jumper to wear on the flight, the last time I flew I wore a primark hoodie 😂

I thought her Zimmerman dress looked more like Ted Baker at first :unsure: seems like a weird choice considering they have a distinctive style, if you're paying more for Zimmerman wouldn't you want their usual style, although I guess she didn't actually pay ;)

You can hear when she tries to be infomative but it's obvious she's just repeating things tour guides have told her a few minutes before. She can't genuinely think she's on par with conde nast traveller - her content isn't travel but 'outfits I wear on holiday'.

I also thought it was a bit sad when they went down to the pool at 7am just to get good shots, why would you leave that in and ruin the illusion, at least pretend you're there enjoying the beautiful pool instead of just seeing another photo op!
