I wonder where the UK’s leading fashion influencer is…

Figures it would be Alex who first addresses not going to NYFW. No mention of London.

lol the gaslighting. They're always SO BUSY

But the reality is they have been on vacation it seems half of the year because their work opportunities are drying up. Making the trip to NYFW was always centered around Dyson. Clearly they didn't want to send a hairstylist and get her invites to shows like they have the last few seasons. I would expect she probably did get a Carolina Herrera invitation but wasn't willing to fund the flights over to attend.

That's why people can't stand influencers. Rather than own up and say she doesn't get invited to as many shows as she used to, it's because she is 'so busy' doing other stuff.

Like no wonder these people aren't relatable anymore. They don't want anyone to know that things aren't perfect in any aspect of their lives.

They can have anxiety but it's always about the most inconsequential things, or it's like 'I'm so anxious about how I look but I'm smaller than 99% of my followers and have multiple beauty treatments'. It's just said to have people gas them up. Oh I'm so stressed because I'm so 'busy'. Meanwhile most of your followers are working 10 times harder for 10 times less money than you.

Can't stand her these days.

You'd think a supposed fashion influencer would plan around fashion weeks given they're major events each year...

Influencers are so lazy and entitled in general now. Back in the day I'd follow fashion bloggers who'd be super excited just to dress up and hang out at fashion weeks, getting inspo and content, meeting peers, and soaking up the atmosphere. Now they only care about freebies and status symbols, no matter how much they parrot vague stuff about 'quality/craftsmanship/details' to pretend they know what they're talking about.

I honestly think she’s not in a great position financially. She overspent on her house and renovations, she took her team in-house which means more people on her payroll, she bought the studio and spent money renovating it hoping she could rent it out but failed so this is a (huge) additional cost, her husband doesn’t work and is on her payroll. This plus the fact she wanted to start her own brand but didn’t because it was too expensive makes me think she is not in the best papers financially. Maybe someone can look her up on companies house and confirm? The fact that she only does sponsored content and sponsored holidays is tragic but seems to confirm this. She never spends her own money and I think the fact that she is the sole breadwinner stresses her out a lot

She's in a decent position financially from what I recall.

This isn’t fashion! There’s no styling involved. And, a pale summer blue bag with a heavy dark brown suede skirt that’s so oversized, it’s laughable. Thus is just pathetic. She should be very embarrassed and so should Fendi!

And, bare strap sandals with a very heavy looking leather/suede skirt and turtleneck sweater? I do believe that Fendi sells boots, Vic. Inquire next time!
