I don't know that Vic's decision not to have kids is superficial and selfish. I mean she is that person. But I'm not going to call her decision not to have kids that.

I love the print on the mask. A depiction of my mood. We have to wear here only disposable masks (surgery masks and ppm2) and you are happy when you can snatch a pack of all black ones somewhere.

Well said! Unfortunately, I really think Alex is wanting a baby, especially since his sister had baby Fynn, who must be 3.5y by now if not 4. Ive wondered if it is the kid thing behind the recent disinterest and animosity we have been witnessing between them in her vlogs?!?

OMG ive been saying this for YEARS!! With brand advertising and traditional TV adverts, influencers are a new concept because they are hired to advertise to a specified group of people (their subs) rather than general public outreach advertising. However, if advertising is clever and works, any time you see the person- you think of the advert! (Using Natalie Portman for an example, she has been the Dior perfume ambassador for years and the "what would you do for love?" adverts have been running for years). Good adverts stay in your memory and subconsciously, you start to make that association between the person and the brand. Any time you see an interview or film with them, your memory is giving you a subconscious advertorial!

So if you have brand association with an influencer from repeatedly collaborating and advertising, you will not be receiving the intended subconscious message during an advert for another company... Even after time and a good advert campaign.
And then there is the question... So whichproduct is truly the best? And if the answer is, whoever is sending it free this month or paying me to pedal it; then the person and their recommendations are no longer valid...
Now I truly believe she loves Lumene skin care because of how much she has bought over the years, even before being sponsored and you can clearly see in the vlog that her trip to Finland with Lumene was truly one of her favourite trips ever.

However I do believe it's possible to do sponsored content purely to show the availability of products, not to recommend them as the best thing ever if it is not going to replace something in her current routine.
Unfortunately the way she squeals+ gushes in every sponsored try on video does somewhat invalidate her recommendations, even if she was honest about how whether or not they will be used up.

It's why empties videos are the best for getting recommendations, rarely try on hauls or tutorials, because these influencers have such big collections, it must be rare to get through anything unless it was brilliant... And yet brands rarely sponsor those videos on beauty channels.... They are silly to be missing out

Mate, I was in Selfridges on Monday and it was BUSY. But vast majority? Wearing masks. Security do ask you if you have one but don’t seem to insist (which is beyond strange).

She has NO reason to not wear one. If she did, she wouldn’t shut the duck up about it. She’s just a selfish twit, who thinks the rules don’t apply to her as usual. I don’t care how many vaccines I’ve had, I know it’s still a very real risk and can still potentially harm others.

She probably doesn’t wash her hands when she gets an opportunity to either. Sooooo chic!!!
 
That amount of bloody food was the modern day equivalent of the biblical fishes and loaves sorcery!!! The timing was certainly apropos.

She’s going to scare poor Boe half to death in that travesty of an outfit. This just confirms that she has no taste or sense of fashion.

She looks like an aging hooker or a drag queen. What in hell is wrong with her? If she possessed a sense of humor, I’d think she was pulling our leg.
 
That look gives me Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade when casts of Broadway shows perform and they can’t wear parkas when it’s snowing so they winterize their costumes 😂 Like Moulin Rouge on Broadway, but make it outdoor performance appropriate.

In my opinion and what I gravitate more towards are influencers who have some brand loyalty and ongoing partnerships with a few brands that may have some overlap, but not always. Like a brand deal for a new eye cream from Brand A and then a new moisturizer launch with Brand B. And maybe Brand A is a higher price point than Brand B. Vic, on the other hand, is a floozy. She picks up whatever crumbs she can without being discerning. Not to mention all the free tit she accepts while supposedly only taking what she would actually use. Obviously there are the influencers who work with all the same luxury houses and go on all the fancy brand trips, but I don’t engage with their content because I’d rather hear from fashion critics and professionals than a gaudy influencer. But that’s just me.
