Seems like they just flipped the layout of the upstairs from front to back. If they had of kept the main bedroom in the front of house, kept the ensuite there & used the "nursery" as the walk in wardrobe it would look really good, be way less expensive & they still would of lost a room. Obvi they could still re decorate all the rooms but the amount they would of saved from knocking down all the walls! Also with so much less work it would prob def be finished in time for the delivery.

From the moment they bought the house it looked like an absolute tit hole
It was obviously built in the 70’s and it’s never been renovated, I mean the kitchen was terrible
Whoever designed it initially put a bleeping stairs in the middle of the house I mean that to me was so weird looking!
But people with money could have bought it and turned it around or even people without money could have bought it and just been happy to live in a 4 bed house
These 2 dopes are neither of those and they are now living in a bigger tit hole than they were before
Bring back the tiny one bedroom apartment they rented before because their house is tragic!

They have wasted so much money on this house, the work they’ve done makes it look smaller especially upstairs. Why buy a £500K house to completely gut it.
Yes it deffo needed a new kitchen and bathroom but not walls knocked out for no reason.

She honestly could’ve bought something so much more beautiful with normal sized rooms and minimal renovation work for well over 100k less than she bought that other heap of tit for, and that’s before renovation costs

Damnnn, as someone who lives in Greater London, seeing niceeee houses for this price is crazy!!! There’s 2 bed flats up my road that cost more than this I’m always so shocked when people say that £500,000 was a lot of money for the house she bought, because if that house was in my town it would easily be £900,000 +

Tbf to Imo, I’m a Brightonian and yes whilst I agree she was ridiculous to buy a house for that much money to just completely change everything (whilst saying when they bought it “we just had to buy this house the first time we saw it we knew it was ours blablablah”) buying a house in Brighton is not cheap. We’re currently half-arsedly looking at buying our first house here and it’s silly money, and whilst those houses are gorge and something I would consider, Peacehaven is not really IN Brighton and is on the outskirts, and tbh is not a massively desirable area. If I could afford not to live in Peacehaven then I probs wouldn’t choose to live there….
