I think she says it all for effect, she thinks that’s how people talk about their children and she tries to imitate it, so she can portray this I love my family more than anyone image. I reckon their mum rolls her eyes at her, she seems more with it, I hope she tells her to get a grip.

"Anyone in my family will tell you"
"My mum always used to say I..."
"Ask anyone who knows me"

Has anyone ever heard an adult speak and justify themselves this way. I’ve heard it from children trying to convince. It’s an easy through away statement when she knows fine well we can’t fact check.
