Thought Nigel would be entertaining but he is just a dull old man. If he thought he was going to use this show to propel him into the political limelight again, he was wrong.

I agree. When he appears on TV being interviewed in a debate he has a way of coming across well to ordinary people (despite the fact he's as posh as most of the others in politics) so he's bearable in small TV soundbites giving a brief opinion (whether you agree or not).

In person in the jungle he seems rather bossy and as you say dull. He's not witty or entertaining and although he hasn't been unpleasant there's nothing about him that would make me want to vote for him.

I don’t think he wants to come across too over the top as he wants a new audience. He doesn’t want to have lots of controversial debates as he wants the ‘every man’ to like him. Thing is his new fans on TikTok like him because he’s funny, he should play on that

Shit we've lost Holly Willoughby. Let's raise Josie's profile and get her in the jungle, we'll make sure she wins then slot her into the main presenting role on This Morning. Quick note to IAC producers - plaster her all over the show, at all times. Show how relatable she is to Towerblock Tracy.
We also need a new young diverse woman on the channel to appeal to the kids - get that Nella in. She'll also be amazing at putting NF in his place (along with Grace).
When we get NF in, he'll be an arse, shoot his mouth off, everyone will hate him, they'll love Nella, we'll sign her, job's a good'un.

Half way through - fuckkkkkk NF isn't that bad, Nella is actually a dick, the public hate her!! Emergency email to IAC producers "damage limitation... redemption arc required!! Show her in a better light pronto!!"

Soooo...Nella in the BT all the time (producers crying in the background trying to make her look good). Josie and Nella overkill, producers reduced to headless chickens, viewers pissed off.

We can see through the bullshit.

I went from a size 24 to a size 10 and I had slightly flabby skin. But I walked a lot so I think that helped to tone up. I still had a belly overhang though.

I think baddies can make a show like this but not when they aren't pulled up on it. Like how are they allowed be so fucking lazy and dirty!?? It's disgusting, but anyone who says it's not okay (Fred and Nigel) are made out to be the problem. It's infuriating!!!

It's funny how Fred and Nigel can be friendly and civil to each other despite how they feel and think politically... just shows how the older generation have the social skills and are actually capable of disagreeing without the need to annihilate the other or paint them as evil.

I think this is spot on. I have lots of friends that have different political opinions to me - but we get on great regardless. You can have shared values, with different political leanings. I would have one dull friendship circle if my mates all had to have the same views as me.

I do find it worrying when I listen to younger folk in my family etc - most of them seem very intolerant of any viewpoint that this not their own. My niece recently described an older family friend as “a Tory nonce”. I asked her why she was labelling him a nonce (he isn’t one). Her justification of this is that he is a selfish Tory, I had to warn her not to throw terrible insults like that around (she is not daft either - 26 years old and doing her masters).
I find it quite bizarre but also worrying.

Considering there is only three women in there now we are seeing a much higher proportion of them on screen.
Frankie, Nick and Nigel are barely featured at all. Marvin seems to have become a preferred person in the BT when Josie isn’t around and Sam’s attention on Tony brings him in but it’s really been the Nella and Josie show

That's the problem, they're only showing the ones who have ITV pound signs on their heads. I agree with whoever said earlier that they miss the little snippets of chats - the genuine conversations.
I also remember crying with laughter at Stacey Solomon and Dom Joly doing some sort of secret mission - before the real SS disappeared up hinch's arse, never to be seen again.

I'm sort of indifferent to Josie, I don't mind her but that trial last night with the spider, nahhh I couldn't do that either. If you've got a phobia, you've got a phobia and it doesn't matter if there's one spider or 10 it still feels exactly the same. I couldn't stick my head in a box with a money spider tbh, her reaction wasn't her being dramatic or lazy or whatever - it's that panic where you need to just get away! However, if i was a celeb with that phobia i wouldn't be going on the show lol!

I agree, I do think it’s annoying how much over exposure Josie is getting but i Don’t blame her reacting how she did. I actually felt bad they didn’t give her warning, just said spider and dropped one in . Arachnophobia is bad, even watching them do it makes me shiver and wince. One came up on my tiktok once and I threw my phone like you say tho, why go on it if you’re terrified.
